Meeting the donor

– our impression

Donor Benton is an organised person but in a very specific way. He likes things to be systematic and is always at the forefront of things. You can be 100% sure that Benton will keep his word if you have made an arrangement with him.

We think it is an absolute pleasure working with Benton here at the clinic. Not only because we can always count on him but also because he is the sweetest and most sympathetic person. Ben-ton is modest, calm and incredibly helpful. We enjoy the small chats with Benton when he passes by because he always asks about our lives and how it is going at the clinic. One can see that he truly listens and that his interest in other people is completely genuine.

Before Benton started his university degree, he has had a lot of wonderful experiences that have helped shape him into the person he is today. During his school years, he spent a year attending High School in the USA as an exchange student. His year in the USA made him mature and gave him belief in his own abilities.

After high school, Benton served his military service in The Royal Bodyguard that keep watch over the Danish royal family. It is an honourable duty that has given Benton valuable experiences about responsibility and leadership and also the meaning of good friendships.

When Benton is not busy with his university studies, he spends his free-time working as a lessons assistant. Benton is a very calm and patient person so we believe he is very good at

his spare-time job. He has worked as a tutor in a private company for the past 3 years. Simulta-neously, he works as a volunteer for Red Barnet where he helps vulnerable children and young-sters with their homework. Benton would like to work within the teaching industry once he has completed his university degree.

It gives Benton joy and value to help others and to know that you are making a difference. There-fore he is also a blood donor and it was also what motivated him to become a sperm donor.

Benton also uses his free-time to take part in long-distance running and fitness. In addition to that, he also reads many books and especially enjoys reading older literature.

As one can see by the baby photos, Benton has a distinctly scandinavian appearance with blond hair and blue eyes. His dad is from Peruvian her-itage but the Peruvian ancestry is very difficult to spot in Benton, except for the fact that his skin becomes a beautiful golden colour when he is exposed to the sun. Benton has friendly eyes and a bit of a squared facial form with a defined chin. The light, thick hair is straight and completely shortcut. Benton has a symmetrical body build and nicely defined shoulders.

Describe your personality

I am a very quiet person but still talkative. I am often associated with the saying “a bird in the hand is better than two in the bush”

Describe your weaknesses

I am a very structured person. I have the ten-dency to place everything in a schedule and write it in the calendar, also when others don’t find it necessary. In addition to that, I don’t enjoy surprises and I like to know things in good time.

Describe your strengths

I am good at thinking ahead and in that way I make the most of the time I have.

What are you most proud of and why?

Something I am probably most proud of is the time I was an exchange student in the USA for a year. I proved to myself that I could accom-plish a lot more than I thought I could. I am also very proud of having served my military service in The Royal Bodyguard.

Describe your fondest childhood memory

The summers where I would sit outside on my parents porch with a board game and enjoy the wonderful weather.

Describe some of your best experiences

My time in The Royal Bodyguard. I made some really good friends and learned the value of a real friendship as well as about responsibility and leadership.

What did you dream of becoming as a child?

When I was younger, I really wanted to be a policeman.

Describe your relationship with your family?

I have a close relationship with my family from my mother’s side and we have only become closer since I moved away from home. As my dad has family abroad, it has been difficult to keep in contact with them.

What does your family mean to you?

My family means a lot and it is an important part of my free-time to spend time with my siblings. We also often meet up during our everyday lives.

What does friendship mean to you?

I am the type who is known to many but friends with few people as I find meaningful ships more valuable than superficial friend-ships.

What kind of friend are you?

I am a friend that first prioritizes my own things but who often has time and energy to help others if there ever came the need for it.

How would your friends and family describe you?

Energetic, friendly, punctual but also a bit re-served at times.

I come from an engineering family so mathematics has always interested me

I started with being a student that didn’t always do my part but I really bloomed in my last year of primary school.

The combination of academics and being social, so being able to have fun while also learning something.

I am currently studying anthropology and have taken an STX. In addition to that, I also have the army’s HBU (the army basis education).

My first job was as a paperboy and I had this for many years. Afterwards I worked for one year in Netto as a cash register assistant. When I finished high school, I got a job as a tutor as I wanted to become a high school teacher and I have had this job for the past 3 years.

Working in didactics as well as teaching.
