False error detection by Windows
During the disks synchronization phase of the new iPC range (see full list in Annex1), Windows raises a Warning event (Event ID 52) stating that an error will occur and that the hard disk should be replaced.
This Warning event message should be ignored during rebuild phase of the RAID1 set.
WORKAROUND
To get accurate information of the Raid, the user must install the RAID tool (provided in the restore DVD) and make sure that it is started at Windows startup (*).

It can be configured to show popup Windows or to email event log when events occur (event level can also be configured).
Errors and Warnings which are raised during the disks synchronization phase (**) must be ignored.
If the RAID status is operational and the RAID tool is running, a RAID system defect will always be detected by the RAID tool stating a new event occurred
(*) Windows 7 (SP1) startup issue (32 bits and 64 bits)
Windows 7 increased the default UAC and prevents the RAID tool to be launched automatically at startup.
WORKAROUND
RunasRob (http://www.robotronic.de/runasroben.html) is a shareware which can give limited administrator rights for a specific application. It is recommended to use this software (or any other similar software) to start the RAID tool in Windows 7.
See installation and configuration of RunasRob in Annex2
(**) The RAID status is given by the state of both Mirror0 and Mirror1 Mirror0/1 can have 4 different states
Current: Disk is okay and currently in use for operating (when both disks show current, RAID bundle works properly and offers redundancy of data)
Dropped: Disk is not available because of disk defect etc. (RAID bundle is in risk, new HDD could be inserted)
Rebuild: Synchronization process of RAID is ongoing after exchange (or dropped and rebuild command) of HDD. >> During rebuild process all data from good disk (Current) are transferred to the other disk.
Sync: Synchronization process of RAID is ongoing after a failure. Any unexpected action occur that brought inequality to RAID bundle (e.g. power fail without shut down) >> During sync process all data are compared, checked and synchronised
