AN AMERICAN UNIVERSITY AT

THE HEART OF SOUTH-EAST ASIA

At Webster University, the education is American and your campus is the world. While studying at Webster University in Thailand, you will benefit from the University’s global network of campuses and the international perspectives of its academic programs.

Webster University, founded in 1915 with its home campus based in St. Louis, Missouri, USA, is the only Tier 1, private, nonprofit university with campus locations around the world including metropolitan, military, online and corporate, as well as American-style traditional campuses in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa.

Webster excels as a teaching university, which means our professors’ first priority is to teach you. Our advisors’ first priority is to help you get what you’re looking for – even when you don’t know what it is. We will work to develop an individualized learning experience that’s only available at a university where your faculty will know you by name. Through small classes and personal atten-tion, you’ll get what you need to dream big and then follow through on your dreams.

That’s because at Webster University we know it’s you who defines your major, not the other way around.

Want the opportunities and resources of a large university, or would you

prefer the personal attention and friendly community of a small campus?

At Webster University in Thailand, you get both.

No matter which major you pursue, small discussion-oriented classes are a hallmark of the Webster experience. In fact, only a handful of classrooms on campus even seat more than 20 students – large lecture hall classes simply do not exist here.

Instead classes are taught by professors who are experts in their fields but are also committed to giving you personal attention. While many faculty members conduct research and publish regularly, their first priority is helping you succeed as a student.

That means lively class discussions. It means one-on-one availability outside of class. It means introducing you to friendly staff around campus who will guide you to the many resources Webster offers, including the many study abroad opportunities at our international campuses.

You will also be helped to find internships at leading companies to gain valuable practical experience and perform well in your internships. Many of these companies offer full time jobs to Webster interns after they graduate.

A WORLD OF OPPORTUNITIES

Our unique campus to campus transfer makes it easy for you to study at multiple Webster campuses worldwide. After just one semester at the Thailand campus you are eligible to transfer to any of the international campuses in USA, Europe or Asia. You don’t lose any credits by doing so as the curriculum and even the course offerings are standardized across the network. If you are not able to find your intended major listed under the Thailand campus, you can still start over 40 majors at the Thailand campus and study up to two years here before taking the major courses in the St. Louis or a European campus. This is one of the most attractive features of Webster’s global curriculum.

In addition to the option of transferring to another campus students may also choose to take a single semester at another campus as a study abroad and then return to the Thailand campus. Our distinctive World Traveler Program makes it easy for you to study abroad. After just one semester at Webster, you’re eligible for a free round-trip airfare to study at any of our international campuses in USA, Switzerland, London, United Kingdom, Austria,

the Netherlands, China, Greece and Ghana.
