MasterCard Debit and Prepaid Card 2012 Promotion

The MasterCard Debit and Prepaid Card 2012 Promotion is organized by MasterCard Asia/Pacific Pte Ltd (“MAPPL”).

The Promotion period is from 1st July 2012 – 30th September 2012 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Period”).

I. Eligibility

1. The Promotion is open to all cardholders of MasterCard branded debit and prepaid cards issued by banks in Malaysia (“Cardholders”).

2. MAPPL will provide the following merchant offers to the Cardholders during the Promotion Period (the “Promotion”):

Merchant A: Golden Screen Cinema

i) Cardholders who use their Debit or Prepaid MasterCard cards to purchase at least one ticket at participating Golden Screen Cinema (“GSC”) outlets (refer to Appendix A) will receive one complimentary ticket for the same show and seat class as their paid ticket(s). This offer will be available every day of the week during the Promotion Period.

ii) Each Cardholder will only be entitled to maximum one free ticket per transaction per day, regardless of the total number of tickets purchased .

iii) The Promotion is only valid for tickets purchased at the participating GSC outlets and does not apply to tickets purchased online via the Internet or over the telephone.

iv) A total of 20,000 complimentary tickets will be available for the Promotion and the Promotion will end when all the tickets have been fully redeemed on a first come first serve basis or by 30th September 2012, or whichever comes first.

Merchant B: DiGi Telecommunication

i) Cardholders who use their Debit or Prepaid MasterCard cards to purchase DiGi Prepaid reload of RM10 via online will receive one (1) RM10 free prepaid reload per transaction made. In order to redeem, the Cardholders must be a DiGi Prepaid user and are required to log into DiGi website (shop.digi.com.my).

ii) Cardholders will only be eligible for the redemption if the details provided via online are correct and in order. This offer is only valid for reload denomination of RM10. Any reload amount which is less or more than RM10 is not applicable for this offer. This offer will be available every day of the week during the Promotion Period.

iii) Each Cardholder can only redeem a maximum of one (1) RM10 free prepaid reload per day, per transaction made.

Step 1: Visit DiGi website at shop.digi.com.my Step 2: Click on the ‘Prepaid Reload’ button.

Step 3: On the Prepaid Reload page, key in your DiGi mobile number and select “Reload RM10”. Step 4: Key in your personal details and submit your order.

Step 5: Pay via your Debit or Prepaid MasterCard.

Step 6: You will instantly receive the RM10 free credit reload upon successful payment.

iv) The Promotion is only valid for prepaid reload purchased at via online only and does not apply to reload coupon purchased at DiGi stores.

v) A total of 18,800 redemptions of RM10 DiGi prepaid reload will be available for the Promotion and the Promotion will end when the prepaid reload have been fully redeemed on a first come first served basis or by the last day of the promotion, 30th September 2012, or whichever comes first.

4. In addition, the first 1,000 cardholders of each of the following participating banks: AmBank (M) Berhad, CIMB Bank Berhad, Malayan Banking Berhad, Public Bank Berhad, RHB Bank Berhad, United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad, Affin Bank Berhad and Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad), who sign up for a new MasterCard branded debit or prepaid card and which is issued within the Promotion Period will receive one (1) Pizza Hut voucher – Buy 1 Regular Pan Pizza, Free 1 Regular Pan Pizza (“the Prize”) which can be redeemed at participating Pizza Hut outlets (except KLCC, Genting Highlands, Wangsa Maju & PHD). The voucher is only applicable to (1) Tuna Sensation Pizza, (2) Deluxe Cheese, (3) Hawaiian Chicken, (4) Pepperoni Delight and (5) Veggie Lover. As detailed terms and conditions may vary between banks, please contact your bank for further details.

II. Terms & Conditions relating to the Prizes/Vouchers

1. The Prize is not exchangeable for cash or any other item, and the Prize or any component or item of the Prize which is unutilized for any reason whatsoever cannot be exchanged for cash or any other item.

2. If the Prize or any component or item of the Prize is unavailable for any reason whatsoever, MAPPL reserves the right, exercisable at its sole and absolute discretion, to provide an alternative prize or component/item without prior notice to the winners. In such a case, the winners will not have and shall not make any claim against MAPPL for any compensation or otherwise.

3. The winners must redeem the Prize by 31 October 2012 failing which any unredeemed and/or uncollected Prize shall be forfeited absolutely by MAPPL, and MAPPL shall be entitled to deal with the forfeited Prize in any manner it deems fit.

4. Redemption of the Prize will be subject to prevailing seat availability at the time of redemption.

5. All out-of-pocket expenses, spending money, meals, travel expenses, accommodation expenses, taxes, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs and expenses incurred in redeeming, collecting and/or using the Prize are the sole responsibility of and shall be borne by the Cardholder.

III. Further Terms & Conditions

1. MAPPL reserves the right, exercisable at its sole and absolute discretion, to exclude any person (including, but not limited to, any Cardholder whose debit or prepaid card account is not in good standing or who does not operate his/her debit card account in a satisfactory manner as determined by the relevant issuing bank in its sole and absolute discretion) from the Promotion without any obligation to furnish any notice and/or reason whatsoever.

2. By participating in the Promotion, each Cardholder fully and unconditionally acknowledges, agrees to and accepts these terms and conditions and accepts that the decision of MAPPL and the organiser of the Promotion regarding the Promotion and all matters related to or connected with it, including without limitation the Prize and, the interpretation of these terms and conditions, is final and binding and no queries will be entertained.

3. MAPPL, MasterCard International Inc., their respective affiliates and associated corporations and agencies (collectively the “MasterCard Group”) do not assume any responsibility for any Prize, products and/or services offered under the Promotion. The Prize, products and services offered under the Promotion have not been certified by the MasterCard Group and under no circumstances shall the inclusion of any Prize, product or service in the Promotion be construed as an

endorsement or recommendation of such Prize, product or service by the MasterCard Group. No representation or warranty of any kind is given by the MasterCard Group as to the Prize and any component or item thereof and all liability of any kind whatsoever is excluded to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law. In the event legislation mandates conditions or warranties which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified except to a limited extent, then to the extent permitted by law, MasterCard Group’s liability is limited to, at its option: (i) the replacement of the Prize or the supply of an equivalent prize; or (ii) the payment, if it does not contravene any law, of the cost of the replacement or supply. The suppliers, providers and vendors of the Prize offered under the Promotion are not agents, contractors, employees, servants, consultants, associated corporations or affiliates of the MasterCard Group. No representation or warranty of any kind is given by the MasterCard Group as to the quality, description or characteristic of the Prizes or any component or item thereof. All risks associated with the use of the Prizes shall be assumed by the winners thereof.

4. The MasterCard Group and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents shall not, to the fullest extent permissible by applicable law, be liable in any way whatsoever in respect of the following:

(a) any Prize that is damaged, defaced, illegible, lost, stolen, misdirected or otherwise not received;

(b) inaccurate information provided by the Cardholder, howsoever caused;

(c) any amount charged to a Cardholder’s debit card account in the course of entering into and participating in the Promotion;

(d) any liability, loss, injury, claim or damage (including, but not limited to, indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, economic loss, death and personal injury) incurred or suffered by any Cardholder or any other person which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from any participation in the Promotion or the redemption, collection, receipt, use or misuse of any Prize or any component or item thereof or suffered during the course of travel.

5. MAPPL’s records of all matters relating to or connected with the Promotion and/or the Prize shall be conclusive and binding on the participants. MAPPL’s decision on all matters relating to or connected with the Promotion and/or the Prize shall be final and binding on the participants and no queries shall be entertained.

6. MAPPL reserves the right, exercisable in its sole and absolute discretion, to reject a participant if he/she is unable to satisfy the conditions set out in these terms and conditions.

7. MAPPL accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the Prize or the claiming, redemption and use thereof. Any tax filing obligation or any tax payment due to any authority as a result of receipt or use of the Prize remains the sole responsibility of the winner thereof. It is the responsibility of each winner to seek independent advice on the possible implications this may have on his/her own financial situation.

8. The Prize winners must accept the Prizes “as it is” and acknowledge and agree that MAPPL accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Prize.

9. Except where prohibited by applicable law, participation in the Promotion constitutes each participating Cardholder’s consent to MAPPL’s use of his/her name, personal description, likeness, details and opinions for any promotional, marketing and publicity purposes in any media.

10. If any of the provisions of these terms and conditions becomes or is invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect under any law, the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions shall not in any way be affected or impaired and such invalid, illegal or unenforceable provisions shall be deemed severed from these terms and conditions.

11. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and participants of the Promotion agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia. The Promotion is not open to persons whose law of domicile prohibits them from participating in the Promotion and in the event such persons are selected as winners they will be disqualified.

12. MAPPL reserves the right to vary, delete or add to any of these terms and conditions or any part thereof and/or to extend, modify, suspend, shorten, discontinue, cancel or terminate the Promotion at any time at its sole and absolute discretion, and no compensation in cash or any kind shall be given to the Cardholders for any and all losses or damages suffered or incurred by Cardholders as a direct or an indirect result of such variation, deletion, addition or alteration of these terms and conditions and/or the extension, modification, cancellation, suspension or termination of the Promotion. Such variation, deletion, addition or alteration of these terms and conditions and/or the extension, modification, cancellation, suspension or termination of the Promotion shall be binding on the participants.

13. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity or discrepancy between the English version and any other version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail.
