Velociraptor existed during the Cretaceous period, about 85 – 80 million years ago. This animal was 1.5 - 2 metres long and 1 metre tall. It walked and ran on two legs. Actually, it could run very fast, probably 60 km/h. It had an S-shaped neck, arms with three claws and long thin legs ending with four claws. Velociraptor was a carnivore animal and lived in dry and hot places. It was probably one of the most intelligent dinosaurs and was considered as a very dangerous predator.
