The class rooms are fully furnished and provide a conducive environment for the student and the faculty member for active learning. It provides good seating space for students and excellent resources for audio- visual teaching so as to explore the dynamics of knowledge based learning

Spacious library that houses 1854 Books in Law, 975 Reference Books and 3680 Books in non-Law subjects. It also shelves law reports and reputed law journals like AIR, CLR, SCC etc with the back volumes of 10 years.

The Law School provides access to leading database such as Lexis Nexis India, Law Crux, Pathlegal.

Seminar Hall fully equipped and well-furnished is available for conducting of seminars and conferences that are imperative for progressive learning. The Seminar Hall is air conditioned and provides comfortable seating.

To encourage mooting activities of the students. The moot court has been designed to resemble the court halls and it also houses facilities for trial advocacy inclusive of Witness Box. Provision of Laptops and Desktops with access is available to the judges, participants and court officers.

There is a modernized computer lab which will make students tech savy. CP Law School has subscribed to reputed online databases such as Manupatra, AIR (Privy Council SC AND HC), Lexis Nexis India, Criminal Law Journal.

Discussion rooms for students are available for encouraging active discussion and learning outside classes through frequent deliberations and analysis of various issues. The discussion rooms provide a positive ambience that nurtures the oratorical skills and out of box thinking of the students.

BBA LL.B. course has been carefully crafted with a view to equip students with an understanding of the legal and management principles in the desired proportion, thereby empowering them with a distinct advantage in their professional careers.

Duration: 10 Semester (5 years)

Eligibility for Admission: 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with minimum 45% for general category. (5% relaxation for reserved category)

Graduate from any stream who wish to take up law as a career - be it as a litigator, or any other kind of legal professional should opt for this course.

This course emphasis on understanding law in context, develop a broad outlook on legal issues, build understanding of the functions of law and of the legal system.

The LLB course is regulated by the Bar Council of India which sets rules and regulations regarding legal practice in the country.

Duration: 3 years (6 semester)

Eligibility for Admission: Have passed Graduation(10+2+3 pattern) in any discipline of a recognized College/University, having secured minimum 45% marks in aggregate for General Category & 40% marks in aggregate for SC/ST Catagory.

The Master of Law degree course prepares students at the postgraduate level in legal principles, law, justice and governance while building in them strong research acumen and subject matter expertise in Constitutional & Administrative Law as well as Corporate & Commercial Law. The pedagogy and learning delivery includes classroom training based on seminars, workshops and research-centric discussions on law.

Career Prospect for Law Graduates

There are a plethora of opportunities for a law graduate. One can either practice as an advocate in a court of law or work with corporate firms. By clearing exams conducted by Public Service Commissions, a law graduate can become a judge. After gaining experience, a law graduate can hope to become Solicitor General, a Public Prosecutor or offer services to government departments and ministries. One can also work as a legal adviser for various organisations. Teaching in colleges, working with NGOs and working as a reporter for newspapers and television channels are other attractive options.

Talks are on to expand the scope for legal practice in India and open the gates for law firms from outside India. Law graduates can expect better job opportunities when foreign law firms start their operations in India. LPOs have started to recruit young law graduates for their processes dealing in US laws or UK laws. Legal education has been liberalised and for that reason professionals from various other disciplines too are interested to do short term courses in law which ultimately will help to raise the standard of legal awareness. Legal education in India is similar to the one in Britain. Let's Debate! A mere understanding of the concepts and logic of law is definitely important but may not be helpful always. In addition to that, "Understanding the judgements" plays an important role in every lawyer's life as he argues his way in court. Legal Rationales provides a wide platform for law students to analyze latest Supreme Court and Foreign judgments, thus enhancing our horizon in the field of law. This is a blog, a venture of CPLS where articles and write ups of the students are published on various topics and case judgments. Other students can also comment and debate on these issues on the blog, creating indefinite awareness to all the unknown.

Legal Rationales is an mandatory academic exercise for every student pursuing BBA LL.B. course where students, on an individual basis, select a case law, preferably of the appellate courts, either Indian or foreign, to be discussed on a specific day of every week in front of rest of the students and faculty members. The aim is to train and develop analytical and reasoning skills in students in addition to generating an interest in them towards case laws and recent legal issues.

The students are expected to possess good lawyering skills with good communication and presentation skills besides acquiring an outstanding knowledge in almost all fields of law.

-1. Criminal Lawyer: Specializes in criminal laws CrPC, IPC, Evidence Act and various other penal laws.

2. Civil Litigation Lawyer: Specializes in civil laws e.g. taxation laws, excise laws.

3. Legal Analyst: Works for corporate firms or law firms and analyses laws pertaining to the sphere of the company and its operation.

4. Document Drafting Lawyer: Specializes in drafting various documents containing agreements, terms and conditions, case material, etc.

5. Legal Journalist: Covers crime beats, legal proceedings in courts, arbitration courts, international courts and arbitration events.

6. Legal Advisor: Offers consultancy to corporate firms regarding their legal obligations, duties, legal relations with other firms.
