Welfare Hospital Bharuch and Research Centre
Welfare Hospital Bharuch and Research Centre is busiest and largest trust run general hospital of Bharuch District. Presently having capacity to accommodate 350 bed ( Operational 160 bed) it is a boon to poor , needy and suffering patients of area. Patients are treated irrespective of discretion of cast and creed.
It has following departments
Emergency Services :
The department is working round the clock providing services of in-house consultant doctor, medical officer and nursing staff and availability of specialists on call. Patients are attended immediately with focus on the treatment keeping aside all the formalities and even if they do not have any accompanying person.
Orthopaedics :
Dr. Suketu Dave who is also Medical Superintendent is chief surgeon supported by two assistant orthopaedic surgeons and galaxy of visiting senior doctors manage this department. We boast of doing spinal surgeries, joint replacement, complex polytrauma, deformity correction, Ilizarov and all speciality work
Haemodialysis Department
Haemodialysis is a method used to achieve extra corporeal removal of waste products like Creatinine and Urea and free water from blood when kidneys are in state of failure. Started on 17th January, 2005. Presently our haemodialysis unit has six units.
Obstetrics and Gynaecology
This is one of the most important department which is well known for its services. It is very well known for treating patients whose case are complicated . Many doctors from town & district refer their difficult, complicated and poor patients to our hospital.
Internal Medicine
Other than outpatient department catering patients for general health, department also takes care of Cardiac and respiratory emergencies, strokes, poisoning, snake bite. Besides we also offer and have services in following departments

A state of Art Diagnostic centre is taking shape in Welfare Complex.
The diagnostic centre (construction and all equipment) will be generously donated by Haji Musabhai Dakri sahib of village Valan,Vadodara presently settled in Houston, USA.

Nursing college (Welfare Institute of Nursing and Midwifery)
Our nursing college presently offers :
1. A.N.M (Auxiliary Nurse and Midwife):
2 Year course for students who have passed 10th standard. We have permission for annual intake of 30 students
2. G.N.M. (General Nursing and Midwifery):
3 Year course for students who have passed 12th standard. We have permission for annual intake of 50 students
3. Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) :
4 Year course for the students who have passed 12th standard. Presently we have got permission for annual intake of 40 students.
4. Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) :
2 Year course after G.N.M. Presently we have got permission for annual intake of 40 students.
Welfare High School
English medium school by our trust was started in 1986. The school was started and is working for the education of children who are from poor and needy families and whose parents did not have any opportunity to get good or higher education.
Presently school is being run in multipurpose college building and students are studying in the school from KG to 12th standard (science stream)
Welfare Orphan Centre
On 19thJuly -2004, a new born infant, pierced by thorns, was brought to welfare hospital in critical state. By blessing of almighty and efforts of medical team he was saved. This incidence gave birth to new area of service, i.e. care and nurturing of children born to unmarried / deserted females and subsequently abandoned by them. The centre was started after taking necessary legal permissions and presently four vibrant and energetic lives gives positivity to campus.
They are being raised and taken care personally by the president of trust himself.
Dental College (Proposed)
We are in process of starting dental college by name of Welfare Institute of Dental and Allied Sciences.
State of art machineries, dental laboratory with complete equipment has been created. Awaiting permission.
Presently the department with a team of postgraduate (specialist) dental surgeons and BDS dental surgeons is working in department and look after dental ailments of patients.
