The syllabus has been redesigned for the needs of young learners and is compatible with the up-to-date technology that is used during the lessons. Our multinational classes concentrate on practical skills and communicative English (20 lessons per week). Students will also have optional oral lessons of Greek History and Mythology. The majority of our students enjoy lessons very much and gain a lot at the end of course.

Classrooms

(max. 12 students)

We have redeveloped an area in the hotel which has become brand new fully equipped classrooms. They all have an interactive board, projector, PC and Wi-Fi.

Placement Test and Levels

The Odyssey placement test assesses the students' communicative

ability and their general language skills. The first part of the test assesses writing & listening skills, grammar & vocabulary, the second

After the test, students are grouped according to age, nationality and ability & placed at levels that guarantee communicative challenge and interest. A certificate of attendance is awarded at the end of the course. Odyssey offers classes at six levels according to the Council of Europe recommendation. The C. E. has standardised levels in order to produce Common European Framework of Reference for foreign language teaching/learning.

The Framework defines six levels:

B1 (Lower Intermediate) • B2 (Intermediate)

C1 (Pre-Advanced) • C2 (Advanced)
