Audition Information

The Show: CATCH ME IF YOU CAN

is based on the hit Dream Works Film starring Leonardo DiCaprio,

Tom Hanks , Amy Adams, Jennifer Garner and Martin Sheen. This splashy spectacle follows the unbelievable true

story of one of the most famous con-artists in history, Frank Abagnale, Jr. Catch Me If You Can is a rousing musical

set in the 1960’s. We begin as Frank is captured by Agent Hanratty after years of pursuit. Frank, however, thinks

the audience deserves to hear his version of the truth, and narrates his life as a hip, dance-heavy variety television

show. We see Frank, as a teenager, run away from his unhappy home to live a life of great adventure, conning

people by assuming a multitude of identities: airline pilot, doctor, and lawyer, to name a few. A fast, rollicking

musical by the creative team behind Hairspray, first produced in 2011.

When and Where

: Auditions will be held Monday, May 2 & Tuesday, May 3 from 5

to 9 pm at Carrington Hall at Sequoia High School. 1201 Brewster Avenue in

room M-5. Enter on the Brewster side of the street “behind” Carrington

Hall/Theatre. (Parking is available in the Brewster Lot

Callbacks: will be held May 9 from 5 to 9 pm, at the same location. We only call

back people we need to see again. Be aware that even if you are not called back, you

could still be cast in the show. We do our best to schedule call backs in such a way that

only requires people to stay for a certain amount of time, not for the entire call back.

Cast & Rehearsals

: The cast list will be finalized and announced before May 10. The

first rehearsal is May 20. The shows will perform Aug 19-21 & 26-28. If you are

cast, rehearsals are typically Mon-Thurs from 6:30 to 10:00 p.m. and Sundays from 4 to

8 p.m. You might not be called to every rehearsal, but if you are cast in the show, you

will need to have these times available to us. A detailed schedule & all materials

will be distributed on May 31.
