Commercial Bid and II-Price Bid for Comprehensive Annual Maintenance Contract

[AMC) far 64HP VRF Air Conditioning System, 04 No' 2 Tonns & 01 No' 1 Tonn' Split

AC from the Specialized Agency who is the Manufacturer/Authorized Dealer and has

executed the similar nature of work having valid PAN/TIN/Work contract Sales Tax

REC Website (www.recindia.nic,in) and an amount of Rs. 100/-as tender document fees to be paid along with the Tender at the time of submitting the tender documents in the form of a Demand Draft/Banker's cheque drawn in favour of "Rural Electrification corporation Ltd." The above sealed envelope(s) are to be dropped in the tender box,

which is placed in the office premises of REC Project office Lucknow' This office

recovers the right

to

accept/reject any on

all

of the bids without assigning any

reason thereof.

Terms & Conditions:

The Annual Maintenance Contract would be governed by the following terms and

conditions:-t1)

The Annual Maintenance contract is for the period of two years from 01-04-2013

to

31-03-2015, The period may be extended for one year subject to the performance of the firm.

[5) The firm shall provide direct service and shall not employ Sub-Contractors. [5J There shall be

two

types

of

Maintenance Service

to

be carried out by the

service provide viz. Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS) and Breakdown

Service (BDS). The

firm

shall do the periodic maintenance

to

maintain the machines in proper safe operating condition. Preventive Maintenance at least

once

in

every three months

any, as found faulty etc. and not limited to same is to be carried

shall include all the parts including replacement of parts and wiring.Breakdown

service/maintenance shall be attended to immediately/swiftly. Defective parts discovered during maintenance can either be repaired or replaced with new parts by the firm at his own cost, Spares replaced will be of same make.

This Annual Maintenance Contract shall

be

Contract should include the smooth, efficient and safe working of machine in all

days, for which the firm will carry out regular checking, inspection, breakdown repair, gas charging, quarterly preventive maintenance, fault rectification etc.

The

Comprehensive

Maintenance

Contract

shall

include

the

repair/replacement

of

all

the

defective

or

faulty

parts/

spare

parts

i.e.

Compressors,

all

sort

of

Electronic/Microprocessor/Digital

Components-PCBs/l Cs/Capacitors/Relays/0verload Protector/Sensors/Thermostat

Switches/Contactors/Overload Reset, Fan, Blower Motor, Blower Housing,

Condenser Fan Housing, Gas Charging Electrical Wiring, Main Cord, Plug Top

etc. and

not

limited

to

the same. The

firm

will

also replace free

of

charge,

heating element/reversing solenoid valve, DP Switch[if anyJ, Grills, Louvers,

Fan Motors. All the defective compressors shall be made good from authorized service centres

or

directly

through manufacturer only,

Any

part/

spare

including compressor, which requires repairlreplacement due to any reasons

shall be replaced free of cost. The parts mentioned above and the parts which are not mentioned herein and required for the said Comprehensive AMC, need

to be replaced of supplied by the firm at his own cost.

The price bid must be submitted in the proforma given at Annexure-ll.

(B) There shall be stationed at our premises a minimum of one technician to receive

the complaints for the redress of the same'

(9) This office reserves the right summarily to terminate the Annual Maintenance

Contract

at

any time without assigning any reason.

In

this

connection, the

decision of this office shall be final and binding on the firm.

(10)The successful bidder

would

have

to

deposit

an

amount

of

Rs.

10,000/-as bid security/earnest money deposit (EMD by way of Demand Draft/Banker's

Cheque in favour of Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd.J Bidders are required

to

write their name and

full

address on the back of Demand Draft/Banker's

Cheque submitted in support of the tender document.

[11) Monthly Bills shall be submitted

to

the undersigned along

with

the Service

Report acknowledgements _fboth

for

Preventive Maintenance Service and for Break-down Maintenance Service) before 7e of the following month. Payment

shail be made after verification

of the

Records. The payment

for

the final month/last month shall be made to the

firm

only after completion of handing over of the VRF AC System in working condition to this office or

successor-service provider and after receipt of taken-over note from the this office or

successor-service provider

[12J While submitting the bid, the bidder

will

be deemed to have read, understood

change, whatsoever desired, will be entertained by this office.
