SCHOOL ACTIONS
A. New School Approval:
A.T. Still University (Online), Kirksville, MO
ATSU is a private, not-for-profit, graduate-level health sciences university with campuses in Kirksville, Missouri and in Mesa, Arizona. The Kirksville campus is home to the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine (the founding school of osteopathic medicine in the US) and the School of Health Management providing distance education programs for health professionals. The Mesa campus houses the Arizona School of Health Sciences, the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health, and the School of Osteopathic Medicine in Arizona. The school is a comprehensive Jesuit Catholic institution that was founded in 1878 in Omaha, Nebraska. Creighton enrolls more than 4,000 undergraduate and 2,900 professional and graduate students in our College of Arts and Sciences; College of Business; Graduate School; and Schools of Dentistry, Law, Medicine, Nursing, and Pharmacy and Health professions.
Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Worldwide (Online), Daytona Beach, FL Worldwide has grown from humble beginnings at Fort Rucker in 1970, with 20 students and a single location, to over 150 locations in the United States, Canada, Europe, the Middle East and Asia, with more than 27,000 students and 90,000 annual registrations. George Washington University (Online) (The), Washington, DC
The George Washington University (GWU) fulfilled George Washington's vision of an institution in the nation's capital dedicated to educating and preparing future leaders. The largest institution of higher learning in the District of Columbia, GWU enrolls 20,000 students from all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and 130 countries--studying a rich range of disciplines from forensic science and creative writing to international affairs, computer engineering, as well as, public health, the law and public policy.
Independence University (Online), Salt Lake City, UT
Stevens Heneger College started operation in 1891 in the state of Utah as Intermountain Business College in Ogden. The College changed its name in 1959 to Stevens-Heneger College. In 1999 the Salt Lake branch campus was established and the Online department was created in 2004. Independence University, a branch of Stevens-Heneger, is an online campus also located in Salt Lake City. Both branches offer degree programs from
Associate to Masters level in Healthcare, Business, Technology and Graphics. Marigold Yoga, Ripon , WI
Marigold Yoga offers a 220-hour Advanced Studies and Yoga Teacher Training program for individuals who wish to deepen their practice and/or become a RYT 200 yoga teacher. An RYT 500, Jenny Tumas provides students in-depth training in a small-group, interactive setting. The program's core is breath-based Vinyasa with a focus on alignment in the
month Advanced Teacher Training program is delivered through one intensive weekend per month: Friday evening and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Salon Professional Academy - Onalaska (The), Onalaska, WI
The Salon graduates a highly trained and well-prepared professional so she/he can be successful in the cosmetology, aesthetics, and health professions. The Academy is committed to excellence in education and training for the cosmetology arts and sciences and massage therapy and bodywork. Given our commitment to students , TSPA strives to seek and provide resources and support for our students so they successfully attend school, graduate, and most importantly, obtain employment.

K. Complaints Handled:
Jeff Lichtfuss vs. Argosy University (Online), 7/31/2013 - Argosy sent ledger showing zero balance and stating policy is students with zero balance can access transcripts. EAB sent Mr. Lichtfuss notification and proof he requested.
Jeff Litchfuss vs. Chicago School of Professional Psychology (The) (Online, 8/22/2013 - The Chicago School of Professional Psychology followed its process and procedures concerning the Academic Development Plan and subsequent Student Affairs Committee actions.
Trevor Matson vs. Strayer University, 8/5/2013 - Strayer followed its attendance policy and administratively withdrew Mr. Matson after no online attendance after 14 days. Per Federal Financial Aid rules, loan money was returned with Mr. Matson owing $740 for unearned tuition. Enrolled in the fall and left Strayer with zero balance.
Amanda Newcomb vs. Vatterott College, 8/21/2013 – the EAB does not have a relationship with this school. The school is approved by Missouri DHE which oversees online
programs. MO DHE will handle the complaint; and the EAB will follow up with the institution regarding the need for approval.
