For project managers the PMP certification is increasing, besides PRINCE2, as a standard and a natural part of human resource development. The certification is perceived as very valuable for project managers who want to learn about the basic processes through certification. More experienced project managers often see it as an inspiring refresher of knowledge.
The PMP certification is based on the book "A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge 5thed." (PMBOK). In addition, it is expected that the participant is seated firmly in the PMI Code of Ethics and advance knowledge of the management of people. The exam is challenging.
Target audience for PMP®
Experienced project managers who want to develop, organize and document their project expertise through PMP. The participant must be able to document at least 4,500 hours of project work over the past seven years to become a PMP candidate and 35 hours project training.

PMP® PREP Become Project Management Professional (PMP)
Why PMP®?With a PMP certification the participant achieves an internationally recognized title that guarantees the participant to master a common conceptual framework for understanding the participants improved across project roles in a project, regardless of organization, industry, language, country, and more. The formalization of project manager skills also helps to increase the participants knowledge and confidence in the role as project manager.
Learning Outcomes
Participants will receive a thorough review, which will prepare the participant for a successful completion of a PMP Certification Exam. This involves a good understanding of the project as a framework, the importance of change management and the use of earned value calculation of progress. Participants also learn to define project scope and use the scale as a basis for further planning and monitoring. We introduce the participants to the sequencing of project activities and the participants will learn how to draw simple network diagrams. Participants will be trained in how to use the most important formulas in cost and time management and control. Participants learn to analyse the project's stakeholders and to define the stakeholders' various communication needs. After the completion of the course the participant will have knowledge of the activities and
processes that ensure project quality, and the most important tools to build great project teams, lead and motivate others. Participants will learn about pro-active risk management and will be familiar with procurement management projects and the advantages and limitations of different types of contracts.

PMP® syllabus ®PMBOK Guide
The syllabus for the examination is based on A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (®PMBOK Guide) of PMI, which also forms an important frame of reference for project managers. The PMP certification demonstrates that the participant mastered PMP and project management, using the knowledge documented in ®PMBOK Guide. In this course we prepare the participant for PMP exam by a systematic review of all ®PMBOK Guide.
PMP exam
The course prepares the participant for a 4 hour exam with 200 multiple choice questions, where no support materials are permitted. Requirements for passing the exam is 61% correct answers. After passing the exam the participant will obtain the title of Certified Project Management Professional (PMP).

PMI-ACP® Prep Course Certification in Agile PMI Methodology
About the courseAdding Value Consulting offers a preparation course for the brand new PMI certification in agile project management, with the renowned lecturer and speaker Joseph M. Flahiff. PMI has recognized the value of agile methodology in project environments and has therefore established a new
certification called PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) SM. The course covers the exciting world of Agile Project Management based on through practice-based examples of complex cultural challenges that may arise when integrating Agile into a Plan-Driven Enterprise.
Agile is a philosophy that uses organizational models based on people, collaboration, and shared values. The Agile Manifesto outlines the principles of agile philosophy. Agile uses rolling wave planning; iterative and incremental delivery; rapid and flexible response to change; and open communication between teams, stakeholders, and customers.
PMI is in the process of certifying project managers in agile methodology. This is a competence and experience demanding certifications that will a high end certification on the market. Like any other PMI certification, the participant must both be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge, while documenting the maintenance of certification so that potential clients know that the participants are knowledgeable.
Objectives
