INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

This equipment is intended to be installed only by qualified personnel. The in-stallation must be made in accordance with the current edition to the Nation-al Electric Code and Nation-all applicable state and locNation-al building codes.Failure to adhere to these codes and instructions may result in serious injury, property damage and void the warranty.

The final installation must be approved by the appropriate qualified electri-cal/building inspector(s).

These instructions do not intend to cover all variations in installation, opera-tion, maintenance or mounting situation.

Make sure that the power is turned OFF before installing or servicing this fixture.

1. Review the diagrams thoroughly and disconnect all electrical power before installation to avoid electric shock.

2. Do not mount near flammable materials or electric heaters. 3. Do not let power supply cords touch hot surface.

4. Fixture is for indoor and dry location. NOT use for outdoor location. 5. The fixture shall be installed or maintained by qualified electrician or

person who is familiar with the fixture.

Wire Connections

Pry out one knockout from side of J-box. Insert supply wires from ceiling inside of J-box. Connect white supply wire (neutral) to brown input wire (neutral) from driver. Connect black supply wire (line) to black input wire (line) from driver. Connect ground wire from supply to ground wire from driver. Wrap each wire nuts until wires are tightly

Tilt fixture and insert through open-ing in ceilopen-ing grid, facopen-ing down.

Recessed Installation

If not connecting a dimmer, screw wire nut or attach a crimp connector onto each of unused dimming output wires (blue wire and white wire) on driver. These wires are used for dimming functions and need to be capped off if they are not being used.

If connecting a dimming device, please refer to the DIMMING FUNCTION CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS.

Carefully tuck all wires into J-box, and replace access panel with screws.

IMPORTANT: Frame should be po-sitioned over J-box so as not to interfere with J-box on the back of LED panel.

Position 3 sides together making sure to use two 2’ foot sides with mout-ning holes. Mount 3 sided frames to ceiling with wood screws. Make sure power supply box does not interfere with driver box on back of panel. It is recommended that the power supply / J-box is mounted off-center of frame.

When fixture is above the ceiling grid, position it so the frame of the fixture is flat, level and supported by the T-Bar grid. Rotate T-bar clips count-er clockwise (90 degrees) to secure panels. If desired or required by local code, wire cable can be run through holes in T-Bar clips and attached to rafters for additional support.

Refer to WIRE CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS to connect wires. Slide LED panel into fixed side frames and then attach 4th of side frame. Secure with screws and tighten until snug.

Attach wire grippers to back corners of LED panel and bottom corners of ceiling canopy. Measure desired rope length and then feed ropes through each wire gripper at the same direc-tion. LED Panel Rope Wire Gripper Wire Gripper Ceiling Canopy LED Panel Screw Side Frame 4th of Side Frame

Pull supply wires through center hole of crossbar and ceiling canopy and refer to WIRE CONNECTION INSTRUC-TIONS to connect wires.

Attach crossbar to outlet box and secure with outlet box screws. Hand tighten until snug. Push ceiling canopy over outlet box and secure by thread-ing lock screws into crossbar.

Level LED panel by fine tuning the length of rope by pressing the strain reliefs at the canopy and feed the wires in or out as necessary. Cut ex-cess rope after final adjustment.

Dimming Function Connection

If you wish to use the dimming function, connect the dimming signal wires from a compatible dimming control system to the “DIM+” (blue wire on the LED power supply) and the “DIM-” (white wire on the LED power supply).

DO NOT connect “DIM-” to “-V”.

ing fixture totally off. Refer to the connection method below to achieve 0% brightness (full off) of the lighting fixture connecting to the LED power supply unit.

Adjust the position of the fixture properly and clean the surface of the panel if required with water and soft cloth. After proper installation of the fixture, switch on the AC power to turn on the LED panel.

Your installation is now completed and ready to use. Retain this sheet for future reference.

Using a switch and relay can turn the fixture ON/FF.

1. Output constant current level can be adjusted through output cable by connecting a resistor or 1~10Vdc or 10VPWM signal between DIM+ and DIM-.
