Model: VL Link feature is available between VoLANs PBXs only.
WAN IP: VL Link is a kind of Peer-to-Peer connection between two PBXs
through Internet, so should use Public IP for this connection. But, if have no Public IP address then should use Domain Name with DDNS service.
VL Link ID/Password: VL Link is connection to external network so, VL
Link requires authentication for security reason. ID and Password are required for VL Link authentication, and both sites ID and Password should be the same.
Reception Type/Name: on this menu, set Reception method for the incoming

HQ’s PBX is set as Branch’s PBX, then all the incoming calls from the line of HQ’s PBX will be forwarded to Branch’s PBX.. For example, if all the incoming calls to a PSTN line of HQ’s PBX are set to be forwarded to Branch’s PBX, and reception type of Branch’s PBX is set as IVR, then all the incoming calls to the PSTN line of HQ’s PBX is forwarded to Branch’s IVR.

After adding an Outgoing Group, select Member Type as PBX, then the registered PBX list will be displayed on Member Name. In this example, Member Name is selected as pbx_taipei.
Dialplan Config: go to [Basic]/[Dialplan], and add a dialplan for dialing to

In this example, dialplan is set as the number begins with ‘8’ and 3 to 11 digits long to place calls to Taiwan. But, actual dialing will be started after excluding the first digit, ‘8’.
In this dialplan, to place call to Taipei, should press ‘8’ first and press the actual number to dial. For example, if you are a Seoul’s PBX user, and you want to call Taipei’s Ext.102, then press ‘8102’ on the phone.

In order to apply this dailplan to each user, add this dialplan to current profile or add a new profile including this dialplan, and apply to each user.

Group Config: add an Outgoing Group for placing call through Seoul’s PBX.

Dialplan Config : go to [Basic]/[Dialplan], and select dialplan for dialing to
Seoul’s PBX.In this example, dialplan is set as ‘8\d{3,11}’ which means numbers begin with ‘8’ and 3 to 11 digits long to place calls to Seoul. And, Exclude field is set as ‘1’ for dialing after excluding the first digit, ‘8’.
Profile Config: add a new profile, and add Dialplan Config’s dialplan in this
profile.
User Config: Apply Profile Config’s profile placing calls through Seoul’s
PBX to certain users.
To dial Branch Local Call through Branch’s PBX on HQ’s Ext, Branch’s PBX should have a related dialplan.

After adding an Outgoing Group, select FXO for Member Type, and choose a Member Name (line number) then press Add button to use the line for outgoing calls.
Dialplan Config : in this example, to place calls through Taipei’s PBX on
Seoul’s Ext, we added a dialplan with prefix ‘8’, but actual dialing will be started after excluding the first digit, ‘8’. So, all the incoming calls begin with ‘8’ from Seoul’s PBX will be forwarded to this Outgoing Group.

To dial HQ’s Local Call through HQ’s PBX on Branch’s Ext, HQ’s PBX should have a related dialplan.

Group Config: Add an Outgoing Group for forwarding calls from Taipei’s
PBX to Seoul Local through Seoul’s PBX.
After adding an Outgoing Group, select VSP as a Member Type and choose a proper one as Member Name then press Add button to use this group for outgoing call.
Dialplan Config: In this example, to place calls through Seoul’s PBX on
Taipei’s Ext, we added Prefix ‘8’, but actual number for dialing is the number after excluding ‘8’. So, all the incoming calls begin with ‘8’ from Taipei’s PBX will be forwarded to this Outgoing Group
The following Dialplan Pattern means numbers begin with ‘0’ and 2nd digit should not be ‘0’. So, in this dialplan pattern, a number begins with ‘00’ such as international call will be rejected.
