The University of Chicago Medicine currently participates in the health insurance products listed below. Patients are advised to contact their insurance company to confirm the University of Chicago Medicine's participation prior to authorizing the referral of your laboratory testing.
If the University of Chicago Medicine is not in your insurance company's network and your policy has out-of-network benefits; your services can be processed against these benefits. This means that you may have a higher out of pocket responsibility than if you receive services from an in- network provider. Your insurance company's customer service representative can help verify your benefits and out-of-pocket costs.
Please note that for Blue Cross Blue Shield, UCM does not participate in any of the Blue Choice PPO plans.
