When are the fitness classes held and where?

 

Athletic Club Northeast is 3.0 miles from the community, on Sheridan Road.

Can I use all the phases’ amenities?

What are the hours of the amenities?

Gables Rock Springs offers the following amenities for you to enjoy:

 24 hours for fitness center and laundry room.

 Pool hours are dawn to dusk.

 Tanning booth: 24/7

How do I use the tanning booth?

Purchase a tanning card at the leasing office. There is a machine that takes cash next to the tanning bed used to purchase minutes.

 

Where do I dispose of my trash?

Gables Rock Springs has trash chutes located on every level of the parking deck for all household refuse.

Phase 1 and the townhomes along Markan Drive have valet trash pickup outside each front door on Mondays and Thursdays. Phase 2 buildings 5 – 10 has a compactor located in front of building 9.

 

Where are the recycling centers?

We pride ourselves on green initiatives to care for the environment. Gables Rock Springs has recycling areas located next to the compactor at Phase 2 and next to the mailboxes at Phase 3 for disposal of newspapers, plastics and glass. Thank you for helping us take care of the earth.

 

What do I do with my move in boxes?

 

It is helpful to everyone in the community if everyone breaks down all boxes and disposes of them in the trash compactor. We do ask that you do not use the trash chutes for boxes, as they can block the chute and create undesirable overflow.

 

How does my fob/remote work?

 

When entering or exiting the fitness centers or laundry room, wave the fob in front of the black box located on the outside of the fitness center or laundry room.

Where are the mailboxes located?

The mail boxes for your apartment home are located: in the mail kiosks outside Phase 1, the lofts and the townhomes. Phase2 has two areas: buildings 1-4 are next to the fitness center, buildings 5-10 are in front of building 8. Phase 3 are in the kiosk next to the building 3 parking deck.

Do you have resident activities or events?

Gables Rock Springs has many fun events and activities that promote a sense of community and allow opportunity for you to meet other residents. Keep up to date on all of our community gatherings in our newsletter and through e-blasts. You can expect to see events such as: Breakfast-on-the-go, dive-in movies at the pool, meet your neighbor’s parties at the office and deejay hosted pool parties during the summer.

Can I have a party at the pool?

Our relaxing pool areas are available for all residents and their guest to enjoy during pool hours.

To ensure enjoyment for all residents at the pool, we regretfully do not permit private pool parties.

Where is the best place for me to park?

You may park in any available space in the resident parking areas. As a reminder, handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty.

Conveniences

How do I pay rent online?

We have made paying your rent easy by setting you up with your personal on line account to the Gables Gateway. You will go to www.gables.com and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world. Additional services available on Gables Gateway include placing a service request for repairs needed in your apartment home.

How do I use Gables Connect?

Changing your utilities to your new address can be time consuming and a challenge, so visit www.gablesconnect.com or call 1-866-914-0631 to transfer or set up your utilities with ease.

At Gables Rock Springs, you can establish your new utility service for electric, gas, phone, cable and secure renter’s insurance.

Where can I access WIFI in the building?

The leasing office and pool are WI-FI accessible for your use and convenience. This amenity is

complimentary and part of your community benefits. You may pick up a free registration token at the office to set up your account.

Where is the rent drop box?

When you need to pay your rent after office hours, you may drop it in the rent box located in front of the leasing office.

Do you have a courtesy officer onsite and how do I get a hold of them?

We have 3 courtesy officers onsite. You may contact them by calling 404.872.1111. A team member will contact them for you. The courtesy office can assist with after-hours noise complaints. Should you ever witness any suspicious or criminal activity, you should always call 911 for local law enforcement support.

 

Guests

Where can my guests park?

Your guest may park in any available space in the resident parking areas. As a reminder to tell your guests that handicap parking is patrolled by local law enforcement and is subject to maximum parking violation penalty.

Where do my movers park?

In the interest of safety for proper clearance for other residents and emergency vehicles, your movers may park along Markan Drive or Rock Springs Circle.

Where does the delivery person come in or do I have to meet them?

In the event you are not home at the time of a delivery, the office can sign for a package.

How many guests can I have with me at the amenities?

We love it when you share your community with your friends and family. Two guests are welcome to join you in all of the amenity areas.

Maintenance

 

How do I submit work orders?

We want placing a service request for work needed in your apartment home easy. You may contact the leasing office via phone at (404) 872-1111, via email [email protected], in person, or through Gables Gateway to place your service request.

If you have not already signed up for Gables Gateway, you can go to www.gables.com and click on the Resident Login key in the upper right hand corner. Select the link to set up your Gables Gateway account. This is a great way to stay connected to your management team from anywhere in the world.

Additional services available on Gables Gateway include paying your rent on line.

How do I call Maintenance after hours?

For those times that you may have an emergency after office hours, you may contact the leasing office at 404.872.1111 for maintenance assistance. The answering service will dispatch your service emergency to the on call service technician. You should receive a call from the technician within the hour.

What is considered a maintenance emergency?

Emergency maintenance problems that will be dispatched to the on call service technician include:

1. No electricity throughout the apartment.

2. No water.

3. No air conditioning on a day of extreme heat (80+ degrees).

4. Water entering the apartment.

5. Possibility of fire.

6. Impeded plumbing in an apartment with only one bathroom.

7. No heat.

8. Non-functioning or malfunctioning smoke detector.

9. Gas leak (also call the gas company).

10. Running water that cannot be shut off.

11. Malfunctioning door or window locks.

Do you have a dog park?

The nearest dog park for your furry family members to mingle is Piedmont Park’s Dog Park located at 1320 Monroe Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.

Where is the best place to walk my pet?

 

The green areas around the property are appropriate to walk your pets. Please help us to maintain a clean and pleasant community by always picking up after your pets. There are many doggie stations surrounding the community. 

 

Do I have to have my dog on a leash?

  

For the safety of your dog and all residents in the community, all pets are required to be on a leash when in any common area. It’s the law and the best practice for your pet’s safety. The nearest dog park is 2.2 miles from our community located at 1320 Monroe Drive, NE, Atlanta, GA 30309. Fido can run free!

Do you have a biking or walking trail close?

Daniel Johnson Nature Preserve is located 1.4 miles from the community, near the intersection of Oakdale Rd and The By Way.

Directions: Go right out of Gables Rock Springs and travel .7 miles on Rock Springs Road which

becomes N. Decatur Rd. Turn right on Oakdale Rd and travel .6 miles. Turn left on The By Way and the nature preserve is on the left.

Where is the nearest laundry facility?

 

Gables Rock Springs has a laundry room within the community and they are located in phase 2 behind the leasing office next to the fitness center. The machines are card operated and are$1.55 – 1.80 to wash and $1.25 to dry. Laundry cards are available to purchase in the leasing office during business hours.
