Exalted Ruler’s Message

Hello Fellow Elk Members,

We had a very successful week at our Wildwood State Convention

chaired by Carmen Adonizio and Co-Chair Mickey DeSantis and all their support staff. Great job by all. Many thanks to Vinnie Rust for arranging a great talent show. We brought home 5 trophies with 1st place honors going to our Color Guard. Great 93 degree weather fit our marching uniforms of Golf Polo Shirts and Bermuda Shorts.

Our Gourmet Foods were prepared by our own ladies consisting of Linda, Terri, Patti, Christina, Rosemary, Faith, Maryann, Nancy, and Sharon.

Bingo is up and running with our first gathering drawing 150 attendees. There will be no more Wednesday Night Drive Up Dinners to go. Zoom meetings are done. Lodge meetings thru the summer months and September will be the 3rd Monday of the month. Anyone free on Wednesday mornings please come out and give Dan Parrotta and his Can-Do Committee a helping hand with projects around the Lodge.

Fraternally, Grason Jones

Joseph William (Joe) Lynch Sr. age 92, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 12th, 2021.

Authentic, Compassionate, Ethical, Generous, Humble and Trustworthy. These are just a few of the

words that Mike Kobylinski – PER used to describe Joe Lynch during his Funeral Service. Joe possessed all of these traits as well as many others. Joe was the Exalted Ruler for 1968-1969 Elk Year. He was the patriarch of the PERs. Joe was humble in his position and a gentleman in his presentation. He was,

without question, an exceptional caretaker of his solemn vow. Joe was predeceased by his wife of 66 years Rose Marie Hartmann Lynch.

Edwin J. Lewandowski Jr. died Tuesday June 1st, 2021. Ed was a Past Exalted Ruler 1984-1985 (Robbinsville). Ed also was the Past District Deputy. Ed was infamous for his ability to perform all of the Officer Rituals from memory. He was constant volunteer and tireless worker for the Lodge and the District. Ed was predeceased by his wife Joan in 2020.
