Splash Pad

The Gladwin Rotary club and the City of Beaverton are looking to complete phase 2 of the splash park located at Ross Lake Park. It is unfortunate that COVID-19 and the flood have caused a delay in our fundraising efforts, but this has not discouraged us from continuing this fantastic project in Gladwin County. Our goal is to get the fence surrounding the splash park and the recognition archway completed this summer.

If you would like to help us in our efforts to donate to help complete Phase 2, you may donate online at:

Gladwinfoundation.org and choose Rotary Splash Park account or mail a check to: Gladwin County Community Foundation specify Gladwin Rotary Splash Park on your check.

Mayor Raymond Nau – 128 Saginaw Street – (989) 435-3511 ext. 1

We have had a difficult year, but as a strong-willed community we have gotten through it all! I would like to extend an open invitation to anyone that would like to join me in our annual City flower planting day. The date I have reserved for this, pending the weather, is Saturday, June 5, 2021. Please reach out to me by calling, messaging, email rnau@beavertonmi.org, or via Facebook group “Talk with the Mayor”. Also, I am seeking individuals that would be interested in joining our “Board of Review” committee. The position requires an individual to live in the City limits and be a registered voter. This is a paid position and meets approximately three times per year to assist our City Tax Assessor. What is the “Board of Review”? The “Board of Review” is established by the City of Beaverton Charter and Michigan General Property Tax Law, the Board reviews the annual assessment roll and hears appeals of real and personal property assessments. The board also corrects “clerical errors, mutual mistakes of fact, and homestead status” relative to the current and prior year’s assessment rolls.

If you or someone you know would be interested in taking the reins for the 2022 season, please contact Shannon Sirpilla at Beaverton City Hall to discuss the details. The City along with the Beaverton Downtown Development Authority have been tirelessly working to potentially have a structure built in Ross Lake Park, designed specifically for Farmer’s Market vendors.
