• Amend Auto on Risk policy prior to mortgage completion
If you wish to amend any details on an Auto on Risk policy, you can do this prior to mortgage completion by removing the policy from Auto on Risk as above, selecting the original quote for the policy, amending where necessary and re-submitting selecting Auto on Risk.
• Move from Auto on Risk to Manually Put on Risk (existing functionality)
If you wish to move a policy from Auto on Risk to Manually Put on Risk, you can do this prior to mortgage completion by cancelling the policy from Auto on Risk as above. Select the original quote for the policy, select Manually Put on Risk (enter the date you require) and re-quote as per existing process.
• Mortgage fails to complete
If the mortgage fails to complete within 6 months you will need to re-quote the GI application as GI Quotes are only valid for 6 months.

We will provide free Buildings cover for the period covering exchange of contracts and for those that start where ‘Auto on Risk’ is being used.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
• Error in information transfer
If for any reason there was an error in transmitting information from your mortgage application to the GI Online system, an Error message will be displayed. In this instance, the GI Online system will still launch, however you will need to complete the quotation stages manually as no
pre-population will have occurred.
• Login Details for GI Online system
Whilst on screen messages are visible, the system will be validating your GI authorisations and login details. You will not need to log into the GI Online system, if you initially logged into Intermediaries Online.
• Payee Details for GI
If your mortgage payee details are available for GI commission payments, this will be used
automatically. However, if you have different payee routes depending on the type of business you are submitting, you may be required to select from a drop down list of payee routes on entrance to the GI online system. (Please see below.)
