Micro Message Display Units — Message Display Units — Variable Message Display Units

The MMDU is a personal desktop display perfect for communicating ACD or system status to difficult-to-reach locations such as offices and cubicles. MDUs combine technology with functionality to deliver excellent value. The MDU displays messages on a single line with a fixed character size. This control offers maximum flexibility for viewing distance and display requirements. All TDS displays feature industry exclusives such as 2-way communication and poll-on-demand features. Overview

Panel display units display multiple lines of information and QuickCOM Enterprise software offers two unique control features for even more flexibility. Sub-panels and optional Channels further expand the operational capability of the panel by allowing more information to be viewed on a single panel.

Sub-panels

Sub-panels allow the display to be broken into separate windows. Information is then directed to a specific sub-panel for display. This data can be updated and scrolled without disrupting other sub-panels (see figure 1).

Channels

Channels are like channels on a television set.

QuickCOM Enterprise can establish multiple

monitoring screens, only one of which is actively displayed. The remainder are maintained in the background and can be called forward by the operator or cycled through on a timed rotation basis. In addition, alert messages can automatically trigger the priority of the appropriate screen and cause it to be displayed (see figure 1).

Features/Benefits

• 11 user selectable colors - more versatile communications • RS-422 protocol

- up to 4,000 feet from PC

•␣ Local and/or remote connection • Dynamic buffer storage

• Page up/down - access buffer storage - auto scroll

• Wall or ceiling mounted
