35003101 Arabic Language 1 3(3-0)

This course contains a set of linguistic skills in different levels such as the sounds of the Arabic language, its morphology, syntax, rhetoric, lexicography and writing. It includes as well as on applications on the use of Arabic dictionaries and applications on some writing skills indispensable for scholars in their working lives. It also contains a refined set of Quranic, poetry and short stories of Arabic texts to give the learners the opportunity to be in contact with and to appreciate these texts.

This course aims to develop student's skills in writing and expression and to provide him with the necessary and basic ones in order to employ them in his daily use, and enable him to stand on the origins of various Arabic scripts, and access to various forms of technical and functional old and new writing.

Educational Psychology is a course designed to introduce psychological principles, theories, and methodologies to issues of teaching and learning, introducing the concept of educational psychology by definition, goals, and educational goals by its levels, criteria, and dimensions. The course focuses on fields like intelligence, memorizing, motivation, class interaction and evaluation of learning process.

The bases on which special education stands like the individual education program ,working as a team and the participation of parents ,merger, identifying the different categories of disability ,mental ,audio-visual ,emotional ,physical, learning disability ,speech and language problems, multiple disabilities and knowing the reasons behind this and the attributes for each and the most important means in relation to services provided to all different categories ,in addition to the category of outstanding qualities and their related programs , and the supporting services like occupational and physiotherapy, special physical education and social service.

This course addresses the definition of visual impairment, mechanism of vision, reasons of visual

impairment and its types, ways of protection and its causes on growth, early programs, psychological and educational evaluation , tools and equipments related to visual impairment students and ways of teaching, and the real services offered to those individuals in Jordan.

Introducing the injuries of the central nervous system such as Cerebral palsy Epilepsy, spinal cord, polio

edema of the brain, as well as to identify injuries skeleton including, deformity, amputation, foot deformity, cleft throat, lip, hip dislocation Congenital, Milan and the deviation of the spine, as well as to identify injuries musculature, including, atrophy, and the dissolution of muscle , disintegration and atrophy of the muscles of the spinal cord, as well as disability and health, including asthma, diabetes, injuries heart in children, Down syndrome, cystic fibrosis, in terms of definitions, types, causes, classification, methods of prevention, prevalence rates, liabilities resulting from them, and to identify considerations for amending the classroom environment, school and educational methods and early intervention, rehabilitation, operation and integration, the reality of disability services and physical health in Jordan as well as its practical applications.

The main branches of Arabic Language within its definition and its relation with each other and presenting the teaching strategies and the methods of each branch. This includes presenting complete models for some lessons to face some problems related to teaching Arabic through diagnosis, analyzing reasons and training on the ways of facing those problems such as listening, reading, oral expressions, written expressions and dictation. Moreover, acquiring the methods of teaching Arabic branches in different learning stages and the aids that may be used by students.

Methods of Teaching Mathematics 3(3-0)
