Downloading

Here are quick and easy steps to DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL rubi TV on your Mac.

4. You will be asked “Do you want to allow downloads on rubitv.app”, Click Yes.

Note: When you are about to download, a warning may indicate that the file may harm your MAC, only go on to download this file if you trust its source. In this instance, the dmg file you are

downloading is directly from our Official rubi TV website so it is safe.

5. This will automatically lead to a Download File popup on your browser, this indicates that your download has begun

6. Since the rubi TV app is light and weighs only 76.2 mb, it will take about a minute to download with average speed Wi-Fi.

7. Once download is complete, you will find your dmg file shaped like a disk in the downloads folder. You are now ready for installation.

1. Click the dmg file with the disk icon titled ‘rubi tv’ in your downloads.

2. You will be taken through an installation wizard / shortcut, with macOS indicating you should drag the rubi TV app into the Application folder.

3. Simply drag the app onto the folder icon then let go of the mouse button to complete the process and rubi TV will start copying to your applications.

4. Now that the program is copied into your application folder, locate The rubi TV icon in your Applications folder, double click to run.

5. If you see a warning stating that the app is from an 'unidentified developer', no worries you just need to tweak your security settings to be able to install the app.

● Click the Apple logo on the top left corner of your screen.

● You’ll see an option called System preferences, Click on it

● Then go to security & privacy

● You will see that rubi TV was blocked from use, if you download it directly from our Official rubi TV website then have no fear.

● Select Open Anyway

7. Next, a message may popup saying MacOS cannot verify the developer of “RoombaTV” , are you sure you want to open it? Click ‘open’ to complete the installation process.

Congratulations rubi TV is now installed on your MAC. You can drag it to your dock or to your desktop for easy access.

After you have Registered and created an account on our website, You are now ready to login to rubi TV and use it for the first time.

1. Enter login details by typing in your username and password details provided to you after the purchase.

2. You will be presented with an option for parental control. This feature allows you to set restrictions and control what your kids have access to which could be based either on maturity ratings or age. If you are a parent, go ahead and enjoy this feature by setting a four-digit pin. If not, feel free to skip this option.

Add to Favorite

1. To save a channel and add to the favorites list, select a channel then click Add to Favorite.

2. The added channel(s) will be saved to the FAVORITE list.

1. If a playing channel has an EPG available, it will be displayed under the video player

2. To view the full EPG of a channel, select a channel then click View Full EPG.

The EPG (Electronic Program Guide) contains the following information:

❖ Start Time – the start date and time of a program ❖ End Time – the end date and time of a program

❖ Title – the title of a program

❖ Description – the program summary or what the show is all about

Some channels do not have an EPG available. For these channels, the following screen will be displayed to indicate that an EPG is not available for the selected channel.

Multiscreen

This feature allows you to watch multiple screens on your device AT THE SAME TIME. This means – You can watch four channels simultaneously on your device using this feature.

Here you will be presented with the following settings options: parental control, stream format and time format

Parental Control

Allows you to set parental password to restrict access.

Stream Format

Provides the Option to choose either MPEGTS(.ts) or HLS(.m3u8) Time Format

Allows you select either the 24 Hour or 12 Hour clock Format

Add User

This feature allows multiple users on the same account to access and enjoy their content of choice on demand from their mobile devices/tablets/laptop in the comfort of their homes or on the go.

Account Info

You can review your Account/Subscription info.

● Username This tells you your Username

● Account Status – This lets you know your Account Status. That is if you are “Active” or

“Inactive”

● Expiry Date – This tells you when your subscription would expire

● Is Trial – This indicates that account is in Trial Demo mode

● Active Connection – This informs you of the number of active connections to account

● Created at – This tells you the date your account was created.

● Max Connection – This shows the maximum number of connections your account is allowed to have.
