HKU Cyberport Campus (Cyberport 4)
Cyberport - Hong Kong’s IT Flagship - is a US $2 billion (HK$15.8 billion) 24-hectare landmark project wholly owned by the Government of the Hong Kong Special

Security and support at the Cyberport Campus is managed by the Cyberport Facilities Management Office on a 24-hour basis.

Parking
The parking space at Cyberport 4 campus is on first-come-first-served basis, you will need to pre-register your car number 5 working days before the class commences.
Another option is to use the public parking space at Cyberport 1 and Cyberport 3, the charge is subject to change according to the Cyberport Facility Management Office.

Main Library
The University of Hong Kong Main Library was established in 1912. The Main Library comprises an all-rounded collection of materials in the arts, humanities, architecture, social sciences, and science and technology, giving vital support to teaching and research in the University. The Main Library is located at the Library Building (next to Knowles Building). Exact location is shown in the map below:

Library
The Main Library occupies the Library Building which is composed of the Old and New Wings. The Old Wing was opened in 1961 and renovated in 1992/93. The New Wing was opened in 1991. The latest innovative establishment is the Knowledge Navigation Centre (KNC) in the central atrium of G/F. The KNC provides one-stop shop
convenience for information search and knowledge production. With its state-of-the-art infrastructure, students can efficiently search the myriad of e-resources and prepare their reports and presentations. Workstations are also provided on each floor for the convenience of users.

Printed Collection & Online Resources
The Main Library houses books, serials, reference, audio-visual, and other materials relating to arts and humanities, sciences and technology, and social sciences.

Reference Materials
The largest collection of reference sources is located on G/F Main Library and contains books and electronic databases which include dictionaries, encyclopedias, indexes and abstracts, bibliographies, directories, and atlases. Specialised reference collections focusing on specific disciplines are available in the relevant branch library. Reference materials are for consultation in the libraries only.
Audio-Visual Materials
The rapidly growing collection of audio-visual materials, located on 1/F of the Main Library New Wing, comprises a wide variety of formats which include video cassettes (VHS), videodiscs (LD, VCD, DVD), audio-cassette tapes, audio CDs, slides, kits and selected off air programmes from ATV, RTHK and TVB. The collection covers a broad range of subject areas, ranging from educational, documentary, popular to programmes of special interest. The AV collection also contains a wide range of computer-aided learning programmes, simulation programmes and computer packages on CD-Rom,

Centre of Development and Resources for Students (CEDARS)
The Campus Life Section of CEDARS provides students with guidance and assistance in financial matters, accommodation, disability issues, visas, student activities and general concerns. It also works with other support units to promote students’ physical, social, emotional and environmental well-being.

Health and Counseling Services
All entitled students may use the University Health Service (UHS) at the HKU main campus. It is advisable for all non-local students to purchase medical insurance to cover the cost of specialist consultation and hospitalization. Students’ family members are not entitled to any services.

HKU Student ID Card
You will be given the HKU Student ID card on the first day of your class. The Student ID Card is a student's personal identification document and should be carried for access to the University premises and its facilities.
The card is a University property and is not transferable. Misuse or falsification of the card constitutes a major offence, and is subject to disciplinary action.
Student must return their cards to the University upon withdrawal or termination of studies. The card should be returned to the relevant Faculty Office; and students will be liable to a charge of HK$150 if they fail to do so. The University may, at its discretion, require a student to return the card at any time.
If you found that either the magnetic strip or the contactless chip of your card is not working properly, you should report to the Academic Services of the Registry (9th Floor, Knowles Building, HKU main campus). If your card is found to be defective, you will be issued a new card free of charge. However, if it is found to be damaged by mishandling, you will be charged HK$150.
If you have lost your card, you must report immediately to the Academic Services Enquiry Office (UG05, Knowles Building, HKU main campus) by completing a report form. A fee will be charged for issuing a replacement card, which is HK$150 per replacement.
Study and Meeting Space for EMBA Students
Study Space & Common Areas at Cyberport Campus
There are 16 breakout rooms located both near the Lecture Theaters and dining area which encourage ideas exchange and sharing. Each room can accommodate 6-8 people at maximum. They are all well-equipped with meeting facilities.
Study Space at Le Meridien Cyberport Hotel
Open bar area at Umami (G/F) and Prompt (4/F) outdoor could serve as study areas after class. For detailed opening hours, please refer to the hotel’s service manual.

During every class week in Hong Kong, you stay at the Le Meridien Cyberport hotel. It is within 5 minutes walk to the Cyberport campus via the Cyberport Shopping Arcade. You can enjoy all the facilities at the hotel during your stay of your class week.
There are two Gymnasiums available for students, one is the 24-hour accessible Cardio Vascular Suite and the other ultra chic GoGYM located in the Cyberport Complex 3. The hotel provides variety of fitness facilities as below:

If you require accommodation at any other time or during electives, you will be

No-Smoking Policy
Tobacco smoke is a major health hazard to all those who are exposed to it. The health problems arising from tobacco smoke inhalation are serious, disabling and sometimes fatal. Everyone should be protected from involuntary exposures to second hand smoke. The University is committed to creating a healthy work and study environment, and wishes to solicit the support of its staff and students to ensure that this policy is properly implemented.
o The University is a smoke-fee campus. Smoking is banned in the entire University campus.
o This policy shall apply uniformly to all University staff, students and visitors (both indoor and outdoor of the campus).
o The University is prepared to take action against staff and students who breach the policy.
