Regions/polygons and objects can be drawn on the electronic map by the

user for vehicle control purposes.

This feature contributes significantly to the process of vehicle tracking and

Rules for Motion through a Predefined Region

Once the client has defined an Object or Region, she can easily design custom

business rules for control of vehicle movement with regard to the object/region.

Leave Region 1

If you want to limit the vehicle movement only in a town area you can define a town as a Region 1 and design a Rule “ The Vehicle Can not

Leave Region 1”. With this rule you will receive an alarm (SMS, e-mail or

message in alarm window) if the vehicle leave the Region 1. Also you will see it in a special designed report for past period. This report will show you all the broken rules predefined by you.

Vehicle Can not Enter

Region 2

If you want to forbid vehicle to visit the driver home zone. You can define driver home zone as Region 2 and set a rule “The vehicle Can not Enter

the Region 2”. The result will be that you will be notified by SmartTracker

Alarm (SMS, e-mail or message in alarm window) section in cases when the driver doesn’t follow your instructions and visit his home with business car. This will be included in the report also.

Speed

If you want to control vehicle maximum speed you can set a Rule

Vehicle Max Speed = 90 (kilometers per hour). If the driver exceeds

90 kilometers per hour you will be receive an Alarm about this event. Also it will be included in a report about broken rules.

Mileage

Notification

If you want to change filter every 10 000 kilometers you can use the SmartTracker to remind you about it. You just have to set the Rule “Mileage Notification every 10 000 kilometers” When the vehicle exceeds 10 000 kilometers you will receive a reminder and report about this event.

Driver Work Time

If you want to control the drivers/vehicle work time you can define the work days of week and time period. If the driver drives the vehicle after or before the work time or in a holidays you will receive an alarm and report about this events.

Maximum Mileage

If you want to control the maximum mileage per day you just have to set the Rule “Max Mileage per Day”. If the driver drives more than predefined number of hours you will be notified by an alarm and
