It is hard to believe that we are in week 9 already. The term has been flying by and is getting towards the end.

There are still quite a few important events before we finally get to the holidays.

 “Festival of the Sacred” concert on Wednesday 24th June.

The year 4/5/6 children will be involved in this event and it promises to be well worth a visit. It will take place at Catholic College Wodonga from 12:45-2pm and is open to all parents and friends of our school communities.

 Class Masses for P/1 Rinaldi and Guillford on Thursday 11th June at 10:00am in the Multi-Purpose Room and for 4/5 Mayhew on Friday 12th June at 2.15pm in the 4/5 room.

 We welcome back Jodie Cuskelly as she once again takes up her duties as Art teacher and 4/5 teacher on a Friday.

 “Winter Celebration” on Thursday 25th June. A flyer and reply attached to this newsletter.

Thanks to Kate Hanlon, Simone Nolan and Amandhi De Silva for their help in organising this event.

END OF TERM—2.15pm

Children finish for the term at 2:15pm on Friday 26th June.

Week 9: Healthy Eating & Oral Health Tip

Be a role model

Parents often underestimate their role in the development of healthy eating habits. Speaking positively to your children about healthy foods and role modelling balanced eating is the first steps in helping kids develop a healthy relationship with food.

Actions speak louder than words - research tells us that:

What you eat and do influences children’s habits more than what you say

Families that eat meals together are also associated with children who eat more fruit and vegetables
