Step-by-Step Linking Guide
For
Merchant Websites
Cashsense has allocated significant resources during the past few years to the development of processes and tools designed to help online merchants in the
Philippines become efficient sellers in an e-commerce environment that is flourishing: Cashsense Online Shopping Mall;
for display of merchant’s items
Shop & Pay Cash - a Facebook application;
an intuitive linking/buying tool
Cashsense Shopping Cart;
so that customers can easily shop
Cash-based payment gateway via a nationwide network of pay-in outlets;
shoppers may pay cash
Real time order and payment notification and reporting;
merchants have an accurate inventory and cash control tool
Cashsense VISA ATM cards;
to facilitate daily settlement
Ultimately, however, none of these assets are of the slightest benefit to merchants unless they are willing to undergo the simple process of linking items.
Cashsense Shopping Mall
To enable shoppers to complete the shopping cycle i.e. from the online shopping mall to checkout, two links have to be created.
• Link one; from the item image on the Cashsense site to the item image on the merchant’s site. This process will be carried out by Cashsense.
When this has been done, the item image will show on the Cashsense Shopping Mall and will display a “View” button.
This will direct the shopper to land on the item image on the merchant’s site. However, a potential shopper will not yet be able to buy an item and pay cash via Cashsense.
• Link two; from the item image on merchants site to the Cashsense Shopping Cart. This process may be completed by the merchant but Cashsense will assist if required.
When this has been done, the item image displayed on the Cashsense Shopping Mall will show a “Buy” button.
This will direct the shopper to land on the item image on the merchant’s site where it can be added to the shopping cart. Checkout can take place and the shopper may now pay cash via Cashsense.
Clearly, these linking processes are at the hub of online sales success. All merchants, therefore, are strongly encouraged to complete procedures or seek the assistance of Cashsense if needed. Cashsense monitors web traffic and flows. Unlinked items which continue to result in an incomplete shopping experience for customers will eventually be removed from the Cashsense Shopping Mall.
To build a link (Link two): From an item already displayed on the merchant’s site to Cashsense’s Shopping Cart (and generate an “Add To Cart” button for the item).
I. Login to your Multiply account.
II. Under Album Details, select Image; a Photo Details window pops up - leave it open.
III. Open a new tab or window on your browser and navigate to your Cashsense Merchant Account at http://www.cashsense.com/merchant

Paste the code you have copied into the Description box then click Save. X. To check if your item has been linked, go to Photos and view the particular item
that you have posted the link to.
You should see the Add to Cart button that you have generated. Your customers may now add the item to the cart, checkout and pay cash. In the event that the Add to Cart button does not appear, you will have to go back and repeat all steps or;

Posting Guidelines:
In the interests of uniformity and consistency of display on the Cashsense Shopping Mall, Cashsense would ask merchants to comply with the following guidelines: Item Name
Maximum character count (including spaces): 35
Try to make the item name as descriptive (in a short form) as possible. The acid test is to ask a third party what image the items description conjures up and see if it matches the item you are trying to sell.
Examples:
Bad: Colored-Red Cover-up Better: Red patterned, v-neck dress Bad: Couple Shirt
Better: His and hers matching tee’s Bad: Gray Long Sleeves
Better: Long-sleeved gray top
Lower case and proper use of capitalization rules are advised (and will probably be implemented by Cashsense anyway).
Merchant Name Will be auto-populated Description
Maximum character count, including spaces: 35 (Cashsense only – will not affect merchant display details)
Will likely include colors and sizes available etc Examples:
Bad: Size 5 to 10
Better: Available in women’s sizes 5-10 Bad: Comes with different Color and Size Better: Available in blue or yellow, S/M/L
Bad: Top loading cd player; Programmable track memory; 2-digit LED display, AM/FM tuner; Full range stereo speakers; Telescopic FM antennae
Better: Stereo CD player with AM/FM tuner Price
Mandatory
Make sure that the image is of decent quality and is situated the right way up. Cashsense’s internal editing tools will size accordingly.
Item Category
Please select the single most relevant category for the item as each item can only be displayed in the Cashsense Shopping Mall only once.
Please note that with regard to text descriptions, Cashsense reserves the right to make any changes it deems necessary for conformity to display standards inherent on the online shopping mall. Cashsense will endeavor, however, to maintain and follow the apparent intent of merchants with regard to display wherever possible.
