Vermont. Twenty Shillings. This note came from the Hon. Charles G. Eastman, who carried it in his pocket for thirty years. He received it from his grandfather, who instructed him to keep it, and he would always have money. The note has been torn across the middle and neatly pasted at the edges; otherwise it is in fine con¬

dition. Sampson says it is about as scarce as hen’s teeth.
