Notes:
Pioneer performed gradation testing on three stockpiles of existing Butte Silver Bow (BSB) materials. The materials are classified as a 4-inch minus subbase (stockpiled at the BSB Crackerville Pit), ¾-inch minus road mix, and 1-inch minus recycled road mix (both stockpiled at the current BSB hotplant/crusher location(Butte ReductionWorks (BRW))). The materials are proposed to be used at the Port of Montana/Montana Connections Rail Park projects. The tested materials do not meet the Union Pacific gradation requirements for subballast or ballast. The materials are acceptable for use as general fill, embankment fill, and/or site roads (see attached gradations).
