Requirements

The HIM Imaging Technician is responsible for assuring that all patient records and loose documents are scanned into the Electronic Patient Folder with the highest level of quality possible. HIM Tech is also responsible for prepping, scanning and indexing all documents to the appropriate patient folder and for ensuring each document is assigned the appropriate document name.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. One year of previous experience in hospital medical records department or similar medical office setting with additional experience in quality analysis/chart completion or similar position preferred. Patient Accounting Requirements

The Patient Financial Services Floater is responsible for floating to different sections of the Patient Access and Patient Accounting departments to assist in projects as assigned by the Director/Manager. Project functions could be combinations of duties related to functions of patient representative, insurance claim billing, insurance follow-up, self pay follow-up, patient access interviewer, and pre-registration services.

Patient Access Requirements

The Nurse Director reports to the Vice President of Nursing Services and is responsible for the operational, fiscal, and clinical managerial direction of assigned nursing units at all times. The Nurse Director is also responsible for managing and directing the nursing care provided by all levels of staff members assigned. The Nurse Director must possess the ability to effectively assess, plan and implement therapeutic nursing services in a multidisciplinary setting.

Clinical Nurse Requirements

Assists nursing leadership in directing Nursing Practice according to evidence based guidelines. Participates in providing clinical oversight and coordination of direct and indirect nursing care of patients, ensuring the seamless delivery of quality services, safe patient care, and high customer satisfaction. Manages the orientation of all new personnel for specific areas and responsible for all preceptor supervision, training and coordination to ensure nursing practice standards and quality initiatives are met. Provides detailed feedback to department leadership for staff work performance in terms of patient care, staff relations, efficiency of service, patient experience, specialty subject matter knowledge level, preceptor abilities, and coaching needs to improve nursing practice and patient care delivery. Serves as clinical expert and liaison to IT department for EMR as it relates to nursing practice and documentation.

Under the guidance of the Director of Cardio Respiratory Care, the RRT will perform a variety of technical procedures related to general patient care, oxygen therapy, critical care, and cardio-pulmonary diagnostics. All activities of the RRT will be directly supervised by the shift supervisor and the critical care therapist.

Qualifications: Must have registry status recognized by the NBRC. CRTs accepted as well.
