SUBJECT: Approval of a Purchase Order to Fairway Ford for the Purchase of Three

Vehicles in the amount of $66,056

SUMMARY:

Department of Social Services requests to purchase three vehicles from Fairway Ford.

The request to approve funds to purchase two 2020 Ford Fusions and a 2019 Ford

Escape was approved in the FY 19-20 Budget process by the Board of County

Commissioners. DSS has compared the cost from three dealerships (Fairway Ford, Bill

Carone Ford and Capital Ford). Fairway Ford was chosen based on prices and they

are a local dealership.
