DUAL ADMISSIONS
Allegany College students have the opportunity to apply for dual admission to Frostburg State University. Students may apply to FSU while attending ACM.
While enrolled at ACM, Dual Admission students have access to services at FSU including academic advising, financial aid information and career advising, along with the use of library resources and other on-campus facilities at FSU. The FSU Office of Admissions will provide newsletters and information about campus events and other academic programs.
Students may apply for Dual Admission as early as their senior year of high school but no later than the completion of 30 college-level credit hours at ACM.
In addition, students who have demonstrated an interest in a particular major will have a contact person in that FSU department. That individual will work with
students to make them aware of admission requirements for that particular program. Students who have been accepted into the Dual Admission Program must maintain continuous enrollment at ACM and must meet FSU admissions requirements, including grade point average for their intended major.
FSU will send an official FSU application to the student prior to the semester they plan to officially enroll at FSU. The application fee will be waived. An official transcript from ACM will be required.
Visit the ACM Admissions Office, the Student Success Center, or Pennsylvania Student Services Office for an application.
Students applying for the Fall Semester should apply between September 15 and
August 1. Those students wishing to participate in pre-registration and applying for state financial aid and scholarships must apply before March 1. For the Spring Semester, students should apply between September 1 and December 1. Students wishing to participate in pre-registration should apply before October 1.

RE-ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY AFTER BEING ACADEMICALLY
SUSPENDED
When a student has been academically suspended from the University, he/she may not apply for re-admission to FSU for at least two semesters. The summer session is considered as a semester.
A student cannot repeat the Core Skills (English Composition or Mathematics) at another institution if he/she earned a D, F, FX, CS, or WF in the course(s) while enrolled at Frostburg State University. An exception will be granted if the student has not attended FSU for at least five years and has earned an associate or bachelor’s degree at another institution during his/her absence.
Re-admission to Frostburg will be based upon the student’s previous academic record at FSU and the student’s appeal letter. Grades in courses at ACM may be cited as justification for re-admission.
1. Check the FSU academic catalog to obtain a complete list of courses required by each major or refer to the Recommended Transfer Program section of ARTSYS. 2. Consult with your advisor, the Student Success Center, or Pennsylvania Student
Services Office for course transferability information or appropriate courses for a major. Also check the Courses Equivalency section of ARTSYS.
