About Likin’

IT

!..

Likin’IT is an IT support company setup with service in mind. After a number of years

working within the support industry, it had become apparent that a lot of service companies seem to forget about the one thing that is important to them.. Their customers.

In a bid to attempt to bridge the gap, and involve customers in the support of their IT

systems, Likin’IT was born.

People are often found to be pulling their hair out when things fail within their IT infrastructure. The last thing people want when things go wrong is to be answered by a robot or baffled with technical jargon. This by no means makes the customer happy or empowers the customer to be confident that a resolution is nearby.

At Likin’IT we pride ourselves on always talking in a language that you can understand. We

offer a personal approach to all manner of support and sales activities and are always open to any feedback or suggestions as to ways that our service can be improved or tailored to suit you.

At Likin’IT our goal is to offer you the presence of a continuous support person that you can

always reach, talk to and rely on to ensure that all issues are resolved as quickly as possible. All of this can be achieved at a fraction of the cost involved in employing an internal support engineer.

Software support is the foundation of any IT support package and the Likin’IT Service Level

Agreement is no different.

Any Business Information System that a company uses is wholly reliant on two critical factors; the software that runs it, and the people that run the software. To ensure maximum productivity and minimum downtime of these systems, it is vital that both the software and the people are supported to the highest standard available.

Likin’ITs Software Support Agreement will meet these standards for you. The dedicated

helpdesk is available to you as your first line of support via e-mail and telephone. Through remote access software we are able to ensure that your issues are dealt with as a matter of urgency and with the minimum of downtime possible.

All software issues or queries are logged with our service desk and given a priority key. This key makes up the framework of our response times as agreed within the SLA, giving both parties clear guidelines as to how the issue will be resolved and how long it will take.

Likin’IT pride ourselves on being forward thinking. Through constant problem solving,

monitoring of systems and analysis, we can identify any upcoming software solutions that may benefit your business, therefore increasing staff productivity.

Likin’ITs attitude to business is built upon an evaluation of what every customer needs, and

finding the most effective way of filling those needs. We recognise that the IT Hardware used to run your business systems is just as important as the members of staff operating it. With this in mind we have strived to offer a cost effective yet mutually beneficial system for maintaining your hardware.

Over recent years the cost of IT hardware has started to depreciate at such a rapid rate from

new to failure. So much so, that we at Likin’IT believe that there is no need for any

company wishing to have hardware cover to pay a huge premium for the coverage of such failures. We offer a competitive fee per unit to offer our resources to resolve the problems as swiftly as possible and with minimum impact on your working day.

This fee covers the response of an engineer on site, and any time spent on site. The cost of any replacement hardware is the responsibility of the customer, but all time spent

diagnosing and repairing such issues are the responsibility of Likin’IT.

Likin’IT has relationships with many hardware suppliers. This enables us to source parts at

the drop of a hat, therefore ensuring the swift resolution of any hardware issues you may incur.

Likin’IT believes that the backbone of your IT Infrastructure is the Network that it runs upon.

Whether you are running on Wireless, Fibre or Cat5e, if a part of your network goes down there is usually a knock on effect.

Likin’IT can install tools on your network that will monitor all network traffic flow and alert

us of any potential issues prior to them becoming critical. This enables us to be pre-emptive in managing your network and ensure that you experience minimum downtime in the event of a failure.

In the event of hardware (Switches/Routers/Hubs etc) failure on your network, Likin’IT can

guarantee an engineer on-site within a predefined timescale to resolve the issue. Should

the issue be down to faulty cabling, Likin’IT has a dedicated team of cabling specialists based

locally in Manchester that can attend site to replace any faulty structured cabling.

A Likin’IT consultant can fully ensure that you know exactly what tools you have available

and will happily work with you to ensure that you get the best out of such tools. As an example; All SBS Servers from 2003 include an intranet facility called Sharepoint (Companyweb). The majority of businesses currently owning this facility either do not use it or do not use it to its full capacity. Are you in the minority or majority?

Likin’IT will ensure that you have an engineer on site in a consultancy form to go through

any queries or issues you may have. Should you require an installation of any sort, the engineer can take care of all required aspects of this liaising closely with you to ensure that you get exactly what you want and how you want it.

At Likin’IT we understand that a lot of companies are self sufficient and therefore can be

uncertain as to whether it is cost effective to have an IT support agreement in place.

By taking out an agreement with Likin’IT you are not only paying for an engineer to work

proactively to ensure that your systems run smoothly, but when they do run smoothly you are rewarded.

Likin’IT and your chosen delegate will meet at regular intervals during the course of the

agreement. Not only to form a good working relationship but to monitor workloads and provide feedback on trends or potential risks. If you go through a spell of not needing

Likin’IT due to things running smoothly in-house, then Likin’IT will reimburse you by

providing an engineer onsite free of charge to work in a consultancy function and go through any issues or queries you may have that are not support related.
