In Vietnam water resources was managed by different

organisations at national and local levels and was

based on administrantion boundaries. It is a must to

manage water resources based on river basin and

there is a need to cooperate among involved actors.

Through the Dong Nai river pilot project we learn how

to development of water resources management plan

for a river basin.

The results of the project can be applied for other river

basins in Vietnam.
