Catalyst has not only office units but also chemistry and physics laboratories and workplaces that can be rented in combination. Catalyst provides a concentration of technology compactly within a single location and, as such, offers young technostarters more synergy, cooperation and know-how exchange. Naturally this business centre has a central recep-tion service, meeting and conference facilities with all kinds of multimedia options and a high-tech broadband ICT network.

384,-Physical laboratories have wide access doors, antistatic floors and walls, multiple air extractors, plentiful electricity points, compressed air, argon and contaminated water drainage. Prices include heating, electricity, central reception, services and facilities.
The costs for using electricity, compressed air and argon are charged on the basis of actual consumption. Tenants are not allowed to bring in any materials and/or chemicals other than via the facilities of TU/e.
Chemical laboratories (20 units of various sizes)
Price per m² per year €
454,-Chemical laboratories have wide access doors, antistatic floors and walls, multiple air extractors,plentiful electricity points, compressed air, water, argon, and contaminated water drainage and laboratory furniture including fume and savety boxes.
Prices include heating, electricity, central reception, services and facilities. The costs for using electricity, compressed air, water and argon are charged on the basis of actual consumption. Tenants are not allowed to bring in any materials and/or chemicals other than via the facilities of TU/e. The rental prices given here apply to 2011; the rental price is indexed as stated in the rental agreement. Upon the conclusion of the rental agreement, a deposit in the sum of two months’ rent (the all-in amount) is payable. Further provisions on this subject are included in the rental agreement.
Closed
The reception is closed for a maximum of five days each calendar year in addition to official holidays. The tenants will always be informed well in advance of this.

ICT provisions

The ICT infrastructure is managed via the reception of the business centre. Service contracts have been drawn up for all crucial components of the ICT infrastructure.

SERvER RooM
• With emergency power, air-conditioned with temperature monitoring, burglar and fire alarm and fire extinguisher unit. The server housing is 60 cm wide and 100 cm deep and is individually lockable.
Electricity consumption is calculated separately and supplemented by a surcharge of 100% for the use of the air conditioning.
