The following is a basic list of Fees* that may be associated with the licensing & appointment process. These fees are due at the time of licensing:
E & O Insurance 2013-2014 rates
Premium is pro-rated based on contract date.
FINRA Initial Registration Fee $100.00 (at time of licensing only)
Additional FINRA Fees Will apply to any non-resident State Licenses that are requested as well as annual renewals.
State Registration Fee Varies by state. State licensing fees are from December to December and are not pro-rated. (i.e. Fee paid in November of 2012 only provides coverage until December of 2012)
Fingerprint Processing Fee $52.00 (one-time fee at time of licensing only) Add/Remove/Amend Disclosures in
Section 14 of your U4
$110.0 (applies when you answer yes to Question #5 on your Preliminary Application)
Exam Fees: (if applicable)
Current Series Exam Fees – fee paid to open window for exam (amounts subject to change without notice) Series 6 = $85.00 Series 65 = $135.00 Series 7 = $265.00 Series 66 = $128.00 Series 63 = $96.00 Study materials for various exams and/or

The following is a basic list of office and other charges that you will be responsible for if you are housed in one of these offices.
Telephone ~ you will be charged for your usage on a monthly basis Waltham, MA $10 flat rate, plus usage
Glastonbury, CT $10 Flat Rate, plus usage
Cranston, RI Total bill is divided by # of planners using the service. Currently $120/month
Worcester, MA $30 Flat Rate, plus usage
Fairfax, VA Total bill is divided by # of planners using the service currently the monthly phone charge will be $50.00.
Postage ~ you will be charged for the exact cost of your outgoing mail on a monthly basis
Internet Connection ~ you will be charged a flat monthly fee for each internet connection. (i.e., if you and your assistant both have internet connections, you will be charged a flat monthly fee for each)

Fairfax, VA Total bill is divided by # of planners using the service currently the monthly phone charge will be $31.25/mo.
Office Supplies ~ the office will provide basic office supplies (Copy Paper, Paper Clips, Staples, Post-it Note, Legal Pads, Rubber Bands). You will be responsible for ordering and paying for your own
personal supplies such as printers, ink cartridges, file folders, special order items, etc. We work with Staples & WB Mason to determine if discounts can be given to the group.
Overnight Packages ~ all UPS or Fed Ex packages sent out to clients are the responsibility of the advisor. Corporate package prices vary depending on mailed from and mailed to zip codes, as well as package weight and type of service. Packages currently average approximately $6.67. These prices vary greatly depending on fuel surcharges, etc.

Administrative Assistant charges ~ all charges associated with having an Admin on the payroll (currently ADP) will be the responsibility of the advisor.
