The Smart® SM-HXE12-A and SM-HXE-13-A

bottom connected meters are solid-state, single phase residential watt-hour meters for measurement of active energy. They are Class 1 with stable performance throughout the curve. The meter base is made of compact polycarbonate reinforced with fiberglass, which gives the meter double insulation and increased mechanical strength.

Round Socket Meter Base

Our bases are made of die-cast aluminum. The electrostatically applied epoxy and polyester resins form a durable light gray exterior. All current-carrying parts are copper alloy. The ground connector is designed to ensure a positive electrical connection by effectively clamping the conductor against a serrated surface. Supplied with a snap action sealing ring.
