The Baptism of the Lord
• We are glad that you are with us! Thanks for joining us remotely, we
wish that we could all be together in person.
• This document will hopefully help you to enter fully into the liturgy.
• Sing out loud! Gather with those in your household, bring in the pets!
• Rejoice and be glad, our God is with us!
• We will begin Mass at the Church doors, unfortunately that area of the
church is not covered by our camera.

LITURGY OF THE WORD
The Word of God is proclaimed from the Bible.
These are the stories of God’s
people — these are our stories!
For the Gospel, we stand to hear these words;
we stand to respond to these words. We believe that Christ “is present in his word,
since it is he himself who speaks when the holy Scriptures are read in the church.”
(Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy, #7)

Profession of Faith - Apostles’ Creed
The Profession of Faith is more than a list of things which we believe. It stands
as a communal response to God’s word.
I believe in God,
the Father almighty,
Creator of heaven and earth,
and in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin
Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died and was buried;
he descended into hell;
on the third day he rose again from the dead;
he ascended into heaven,
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty;
from there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.
Universal Prayer:
We offer to God our prayers for the world and for ourselves.
Response:
Lord, hear our prayer.
LITURGY OF THE EUCHARIST
This is very center of the Mass and the heart of our faith. Here we enter
into the Last Supper. We gather with Jesus at the Table to recieve his Body
and his Blood. We sing the Holy, Holy at the end of the Preface. After the
account of the Last Supper, we affirm and conclude the whole prayer with
our Great Amen, our Great ‘Yes, I Believe.’
Preparation of the Gifts and Altar
Gifts are collected for the poor and the church. Bread and wine are
brought to the altar table, and everything is prepared for the celebration.

May the Lord accept the sacrifice at your

Preface
The Lord be with you.
And with your spirit.
Lift up your hearts.
We lift them up to the Lord.
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
It is right and just.
The Eucharistic Prayer
When we eat this Bread and drink this cup,
we proclaim your Death, O Lord,
until you come again.
The Communion Rite
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come, thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.
Deliver us... Jesus Christ.
For the kingdom, the power
and glory are yours now and forever.
