Its a Networking Event

With so many regional HR teams at the show, we understand the importance of networking at the event. Which is why we don’t leave anything to chance and ensure that everyone comes away from the event having met all the prospects they needed to. Our networking activities included the following:

Training & Development Awards 2013

The perfect opportunity to meet with some of the largest HR teams from across the region. The awards evening celebrates excellence and recognized the top teams in categories such as, Best Graduate Trainee Programme, L&D Leader of the Year and Best Internal Training Strategy. With over 80 attendees from HR teams it was a great way to wind down after a busy day at the conference.

VIP Lunch

Our VIP seated lunch brought together around 50 VIP’s, delegates and sponsors, providing an informal networking platform and the perfect opportunity to catch up with decision makers that you had met earlier that morning. The lunch took place on both days of the show and was a great place to meet with several VIP’s at once.

1-2-1 Partnering in our Networking Lounge

To ensure that our sponsors and exhibitors met with their key prospects at the event all our pre-arranged meetings took place in our dedicated Networking Lounge. With 6 tables of meeting space, the area was fully utilized across the 2 days, with any gaps being filled with as many on site introductions as the team could facilitate.

Exhibition Floor plan

The event took place in the Dubai World Trade Centre. The floorplan was designed to ensure an excellent experience for all exhibitors. The onsite content and floor features were strategically placed to encourage foot fall throughout the entire show floor. The build was executed by our contractor, Global Exhibition Specialists. They facilitated all exhibitors design and order needs pre show and onsite. Three seminars and the keynotes all ran alongside each other and attendees had the opportunity to browse the learning marketplace as well as benefit from three seminar theatres overflowing with inspirational and exciting free content.

Onsite Signage

A number of high visibility banners were placed throughout the concourse areas of Dubai World Trade Centre and inside the hall. Rigged banners and floor stickers were also placed in the exhibition hall highlighting key features and content. Each attendee registering for the show also received a show guide which was inclusive of all sponsor and exhibitor profiles and the floorplan to help navigate throughout the show.

Off site Activities

The first Training and Development Awards were hosted in the magnificent Address Downtown Hotel. The ballroom over looked the Burj Khalifa as it sparkled in the backdrop for the evening surrounded by the worlds largest dancing fountains. The awards were handed out by the Magician for the evening, Frederic Sharp who also entertained the guests with magic tricks throughout the evening.
