Elta Fans ultra modern headquarters, Fareham, England.

1

For nearly thirty years now, Elta Fans technological advances in fan design and engineering have put us at the forefront of customers minds, providing them with a wide spectrum of products for a large variety of applications.

Established in 1974, Elta initially produced circulating fans for high temperature applications. As the business soon developed, Elta’s capabilities in fan design focused on supplying Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s), the majority of applications for heat exchangers, engine room cooling, oil rigs and dry cleaning machinery. Expansion and growth came quickly, as Elta continued to match its capabilities, application knowledge and expertise in fan engineering, against it’s customer needs. So much so, Elta has established an enviable reputation for its innovation in axial flow fan technology, whilst also developing the worlds first adjustable pitch mixed flow impeller.

By 1996, following retirement of its founders, Elta Fans was acquired, becoming the principal company in the newly formed Elta Group. Remaining a privately owned company, substantial investment has supported Elta’s continued expansion on a worldwide scale.

Visitors to Elta Fans new ultra modern headquarters in Fareham, UK, will see evidence everywhere of the largest investment programme in the company’s history.

Within the domains of the air movement sector, Elta Fans products have evolved for building services applications, to air coolers and refrigeration, offshore and marine, to industrial processing, traction and other specialist markets.

Technical innovations are the foundation of Elta’s product range. The harmony of engineering excellence and technical sophistication combine to provide a product offering second to none.

Elta Fans never stand still when it comes to innovation, investing a great deal of time, money and effort into research & development. Our team of product development engineers continuously work to develop new and innovative products to meet customers needs.

With tomorrow’s technology such as finite element analysis software at their fingertips, they can pinpoint, analyse and make design changes and improvements without the expense of conventional prototyping.

With a research & development laboratory conforming to BS EN ISO 9001, products are tested to the very latest aerodynamic and acoustical standards, providing reliable, accurate data, which customers can apply to their requirements

With such an extensive range of fans – the possibilities may seem endless, but fan engineered products are only worth having if they comply with the highest standards of Quality, Reliability, Performance, Function and Safety.

These are cardinal features of every Elta product, brought together through an intensive research & development programme to ensure total customer confidence, whatever the application, whatever the product.

Elta has been manufacturing fans for nearly 30 years, yet continued investment in plant and machinery, combined with the development of modern manufacturing techniques, provides a fast, responsive and flexible approach to satisfy changing market conditions.

Whilst Elta Fans principal manufacturing plant is located in the UK, manufacturing and assembly facilities also exist in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

The needs and requirements of our customers both in the UK and throughout the world, have dictated the development of products and accentuated the necessity for a flexible manufacturing base to produce for a specific design requirement.

Therefore, in the midst of orderly and pre-scheduled production runs, our departments are geared to design, develop and produce specific or modified standard products to customer designs.

For too long customers have adapted to products and technology that do not necessarily satisfy their specific needs. Our philosophy at Elta is different, instead of asking what you can have, we work to provide exactly what you want.

Choosing the right fan for the right application is paramount, that’s why each product in Elta’s range delivers specific characteristics and benefits in the way it is required.

Whether it be a standard or modified fan from our “Building Services” division or a specific design, custom built for a specialist market from Elta’s “Applied Technology” division, specifers, consultants and project engineers alike have selected Elta Fans products over many years.

Elta’s knowledge and expertise in product application is supported by an extensive range of products, encompassing Axial, Mixed Flow, Centrifugal and Roof extract fans.

Elta has particular design and engineering expertise in axial flow fans extending from 250mm up to 2000mm diameter, ensuring a variant to meet almost every application requirement.
