There are a number of resources on Social Media Marketing for large businesses. I know most of you are saying, “I’m not trying to answer customer support questions like most large brands. I’m just trying to find clients!”

I will demonstrate basic and advanced strategies for Facebook, Twitter, WordPress Blogs, and Active Rain. I will also go into detail on how to create your Facebook business page and add some bells and whistles that will allow you to stand out from your

competitors.

I have so many techniques and strategies to share that it’s hard to say where to start first! I will start with the Top 4 Social Media sites that are important for you to start your social media campaign. Then I will elaborate on the techniques to generate leads with each site.

It can be very overwhelming at first to start your social media campaign. You may be more comfortable focusing on two areas such as Facebook and Twitter or Twitter and Your Blog, but at least start with two social media areas so you can promote your services across multiple platforms.

Here is some basic information About my Top 4 Social Media Sites:

campaign:

Step 1: Open new accounts for these social media sites.

Step 2: Become a friend to Naomi Trower on these sites. I give a lot of tips, valuable

content and updates via these sites.

Step 3: Start to populate your information to these

sites with an up-close, professional business photo. Your photo is very important. I’ve had more people contact me because of my eyes and smile in my profile photo than anything else (so, be friendly and enthusiastic in order to attract clients like bees to honey).

Step 4: Make a weekly plan just for social media marketing. This can seem overwhelming

at first, but when you schedule your day to spend an allotted amount of time, it becomes so much easier.

I usually spend about 15 minutes in the morning, mid-afternoon and evening on Facebook and Twitter every day, for a total of 45 minutes.

I spend about 1 to 1.5 hours every day writing new blog posts, promoting my blog, and commenting on other related blogs.

I spend 15 minutes on Tuesdays and Thursdays on Active Rain.

As you can see from my schedule, I utilize Facebook, Twitter and my blog the most. I have had a slow start on Active Rain, but that will change. I will be adjusting my schedule to be more active there on a daily basis.

In the new year, I also plan to concentrate on LinkedIn and Posterous as my next social media focus. I will share strategies for those networks in the next version of this ebook.

You can choose to do the same as well. I just chose the social media sites that would be the easiest for you to generate the most leads naturally. You can decide to focus on two social media sites at first, then gradually move forward to other sites.

Naomi has a degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California, which has a focus on learning multiple engineering disciplines and becoming the CEO of engineering firms.

She worked for The Boeing Company for 10 years. She developed a passion for project engineering and completed very high level, multimillion-dollar facility projects during her career.

Eventually, she caught the entrepreneurial bug from her husband. After the birth of their first daughter and the last of three children five years ago, she came home to help with Kylon’s growing mortgage business. It was an amazing time as their business continued to grow and expand.

During this time, she became a real estate broker and established Premier Equity Group, Inc. and Premier Realty Group. She currently has a team of real estate agents and loan officers working under her license.

Naomi has partnered with social media experts and intends to expand her reach in this realm. She is an active member of ISMA, International Social Media Association, and is helping her team and other business owners to be successful in the social media arena.
