Thank you for your interest in selling Epson SureColor
®F-Series printers.
The authorization criteria in this document, and the attached application, will help us in determining your ability to sell and support this
exciting product line. Upon receipt of your application, the Epson Professional Imaging Regional Manager for your territory will contact
you with the disposition of your application.
Epson reserves the right to approve or disapprove any application in its discretion.
As an Epson Authorized Reseller, or a Reseller applying for SureColor F-Series authorization, it is important you understand the
criteria for receiving and maintaining Epson authorization. This document explains Epson’s requirements currently in effect. Epson
reserves the right to change its ProFocus F-Series Authorization Program, and its authorization criteria when needed, and the right to
terminate our program at any time.
Authorization depends generally on the Reseller’s resources, market penetration, technical skill and support level, as well as Epson’s
need for efficient territory coverage and product availability. Epson’s overall aim is to ensure that end-users of its sophisticated
Professional Imaging Products receive the best in support, and that our products remain competitive in the marketplace.
By signing and submitting this Reseller Application Form, your company certifies that the information in the application is true and
agrees to the terms and conditions for being an Authorized ProFocus F-Series Reseller.

Welcome to the ProFocus F-Series Authorized Reseller Program for the Epson SureColor
®F-Series product line.
As part of this program, we are offering a number of opportunities to dramatically improve your sales and profitability when selling
Epson SureColor F-Series printers, inks, and options. These opportunities include a hardware demonstration unit program, trade
show product support, end-user lead generation programs, and more.
Authorized Reseller Program
Introduction
Here are some of the new elements of this Authorized Reseller Program. Please read this entire document for all the
features, terms and conditions of the program:
1.
This program is separate from any existing ProFocus Authorized Reseller Program.
2. All first-time customer and printer model installations must be performed by the Authorized Reseller.
3. The customer will “rate” the quality of any printer installation using the supplied Epson Printer Installation Form. Based upon this
information, Epson may provide additional incentives to Authorized Resellers.
4. In order to receive your back-end printer rebate(s), printer installation form(s), with customer signature, are required to be sent
back to Epson.
5. To reinforce your value-add as an Epson Authorized Reseller, each sales region is required to purchase a working demo printer.
6. Printer rebate claims must be made within 15 days after the end of the quarter.
7. Printer installation form(s) must be submitted 30 days after the end of the quarter.
8. Resellers in the program may not promote or sell third-party inks to customers of the F-Series or of any other Epson
SureColor or SureLab printer (S-Series, D-Series or T-Series). This includes third-party brands of new or refilled
cartridges, inks and bulk ink systems.
What’s New
Please Understand the Following:
All Epson SureColor F-Series printers and inks are subject to an Epson UMRP (Unilateral Minimum Resale Price)
Policy. This is a pricing policy unilaterally implemented by Epson, without any agreement sought or accepted from
resellers. If you are accepted as reseller in this program you will be provided with the policy documents.
Epson SureColor F-Series back-end payouts are granted strictly for sales made by resellers directly to end-user
customers (customers who use and operate the printer and purchase consumables for use on that printer), in the
reseller’s country (US or Canada). Resale of printers or consumables by any reseller to another reseller of any
type (product distribution), or sold outside of their country for any reason, is excluded from payout and is grounds
for removal of the reseller from the program itself. See claim forms and guidelines for further details. Only Epson
Authorized F-Series Resellers are eligible to participate in payouts.
F-Series
The ProFocus F-Series Hardware Rebate Program is a three-tier payout program, consisting of Premier, Premier Plus, and Premier
Elite levels. This quarterly back-end payout offers significant profit margin enhancements to those resellers who achieve specific unit
sales thresholds on the Epson SureColor F-Series printers. The requirements for meeting each ProFocus threshold and the back-end
payout per printer are shown below.

The ProFocus F-Series Consumable Rebate Program is designed to reward those resellers who succesfully sell the entire Epson
solution and display superior attachment rates for media. Please review the formula and example below as well as the following
page for eligible Epson Professional Ink/Media skus.

Epson has world-class marketing communication programs to create end-user demand for our products. Epson develops leads for
potential end-user sales from a number of sources. Under this program, qualifying resellers will have these leads referred to them for
potential sales follow-up.
Leads that include requests for a product demonstration will be sent to resellers in the area who possess a demonstration unit of that
printer model. So, please ensure you have a working demo unit.
All product inquiries received by Epson are immediately answered with fulfillment information sent by return mail. The lead is then
forwarded to the appropriate Epson Professional Imaging sales person for tracking purposes, and to an appropriate reseller for
follow-up and closure.
In addition, Epson Authorized Resellers with demonstration equipment are listed on the www.proimaging.epson.com web site. These
individuals are given leads based on the state in which the customer resides who requests a reseller referral.
You agree to use such leads solely for the purpose of promoting Epson products and for no other purpose, including but not limited to
the promotion or direct marketing of your own products or the products of non-Epson companies or services. Under no
circumstanc-es are you to disclose leads to third particircumstanc-es for any purpose.
As a further condition of accepting leads, you agree to honor all “do not contact” requests; you agree that you will not contact for
promotional purposes any person who requests not to be contacted. You also agree to forward all “do not contact” requests to Epson.
Should you fail to comply with these requirements your authorization may be terminated. Further, you agree to indemnify or
otherwise reimburse Epson for any and all costs, monetary penalties or other adverse results, including but not limited to the
costs of complying with applicable data breach notification laws, or any other data or information privacy laws or regulations
with respect to information provided to you through the Lead Referral Program.

Epson believes that proper printer installation will increase customer satisfaction and reduce support issues. For that reason, all Epson
Resellers are required to provide customer product installation for the Epson SureColor F-Series product line.
Epson mandates that all first-time SureColor F-Series printer customers and additional new model purchases thereafter, must be
installed by an Authorized Reseller. The reseller may charge for this service.
For any second install(s) of the same model, the customer may waive the service for reseller installation if they choose.
If a customer insists they will NOT purchase the product if forced to pay for installation, then the Authorized Reseller may allow the
customer to waive the installation. Simply check the ‘denied dealer install box’ on the Printer Installation Form before submitting.
In order to best enforce this policy and provide the best overall experience to Epson customers, it is required that all Epson Authorized
Resellers have the customer complete and sign a Printer Installation Form (available at http://imageway.goepson.com) and submit it
within 30 days from the end of the quarter on the http://profocus.epson.com website. A reseller must provide a signed and
complet-ed installation form with each printer, even if the customer chose not to have the reseller complete the installation.
On the installation form, the reseller must also be sure the customer has read and initialed the section titled, “Important Purchase
Terms.”
Rebate submissions that do NOT include a completed and signed installation form, will not be paid their back-end rebate for
that printer. However, the unit sale will still count towards the ProFocus attainment level.

Epson considers the capability to demonstrate an Epson SureColor printer a fundamental requirement for success.
Demo capability by a reseller branch is a requirement for any level attainment on the Hardware Cash Rewards Program.
Each Authorized Professional Imaging Reseller is permitted to purchase Epson SureColor printers for approved trade
shows direct from Epson at a signifi cant discount. Demo/Trade Show units can be ordered from the seperate Dealer
Demo/Trade Show Printer Program Form.

Program Rules
Demo Product Requirement
The authorized reseller is required to maintain a demonstration unit in order to eff ectively demonstrate the printer and
as needed produce print samples.
Use and Sale of Demo / Trade Show Units
Demo units are intended for customer demonstration and must he held for at least 60 days prior to being sold.
In order to extend a full Epson 12 month warranty to the end-user customer, demo units must be sold within 6 months
of purchase. Trade show units can be sold at the event, as long as the printer remains in the booth for the duration of
the show. Any exception to these rules must be given in writing from Epson / Sales Operations.
Maximum Demo / Trade Show Units Allowed
Each reseller is allowed to purchase up to four (4) total units per year / per reseller location. In addition to using these
as a standard showroom Demo Unit, Authorized Resellers can also purchase printers under this program for use within
their Epson approved trade show booth.
Demo Unit / Trade Show Purchase Process
All demo / trade show units must be purchased directly from Epson America. To ensure your trade show unit arrives
in time for an event, please ensure you order at least two-weeks prior to the event. Epson does not guarantee on-time
delivery of these units, so plan ahead to take full advantage of this program. Epson can ship directly to your booth.

Who Can Participate
• Only Authorized F-Series Resellers are eligible to participate in this Reseller Program • Epson reserves the right to change or terminate all or any part of this Program
General Terms & Conditions
• Program changes that apply will be communicated before the start of each quarter.
• The Program operates on a quarterly calendar basis - Q1: January to March, Q2: April to June, Q3: July to September, Q4: October to December. • Measurement of performance and payment of rewards against sales will occur formally in the first full quarter of sales. Resellers may be accepted
into the Program at any time during the quarter; credit for the balance of the sign-up quarter will be at the promised performance level, even if the unit run rate is not reached. True measurement and appropriate rewards against the commitment starts in the next quarter.
• In order to receive back-end payments, you must, on a quarterly basis, maintain your agreed upon volume commitment and demo unit obligation. Should your unit volume drop below the minimum in your category, you will either be dropped to the lower level back-end rebate or become ineligible according to the rules of the Program.
• Reseller must participate in the Demonstration Unit Program during that quarter in order to be eligible for rebates during that quarter. • Resellers may NOT advertise or sell F-Series products on third party websites (such as Amazon, Craig’s List, eBay, or buy.com) • Program is based on product availability.
• Resellers may not promote or sell third-party inks to customers of the F-Series or of any other Epson SureColor or SureLab printer (S-Series, D-Series or T-Series). This includes third-party brands of new or refilled cartridges, inks and bulk ink systems.
Claim Submission
• The reseller has the responsibility to claim hardware credit for sales in each quarter. All hardware claims must be submitted online at
http://profocus.epson.com. Claims must be made quarterly and must be received within 15 days of the end of the quarter in order to be paid. Those received after the 15 day grace period at the end of a quarter will not be honored.
• Sales must be invoiced between the first and last day of the eligible quarter. • Claims submitted for previous quarter’s sales will not be processed.
• The model serial number must be included with each claim. Claims submitted without serial numbers will not be processed. • A completed Printer Installation Form must accompany each claimed unit. Claims without an attached form will not be paid.
• Epson will issue reward checks to resellers approximately 30 - 45 days after the claim deadline (approximately 60 - 75 days after the quarter closes). • Epson will calculate the quarterly Consumable Rebate based upon actual purchases of eligible ink and media.
• Epson is not responsible for lost or misdirected claims.
• Fraudulent claims could result in forfeit of ProFocus rebates and termination of your authorization. • Epson reserves the right to substantiate customer information and serial numbers.
