Do not interrupt the information chains.

If you have to apply your measures, do it quickly and immediately. Normaly every measure applied too late loses a lot of its efficiency.

Traffic management is really important for major events. But the overall security, safety and rescue will always come first (police, fire department and ambulance) Build up a direct communication with these departments. The following organisational structure proved successful in traffic management during major

events.

Each person has to have an exact description of his specific task, which they need to know including their information chain.
