Concession Stand Sign Up

The $30.00 concession stand service bond will be refunded after working two 3-hour shifts (total of 6 hours) in the Concession stand. Both shifts must be worked for the bond to be refunded.

Anyone may work on behalf of the player/family (father, mother, sister, brother, aunt, uncle, grandparent, neighbor, friend, etc.). Only children 15 years or older may work during the regular' season unless they work with one of their parents (i.e., both shifts at the same time).

Only those (including children) scheduled to work will be allowed in the concession area. A "no show" at the concession stand will be considered a forfeit.

It is the Parent's responsibility to get scheduled to work in the concession stand. To schedule you may either:

- Contact the Concessionaire (Ann Taylor) at the concession stand during game times.

- Complete a Schedule Option/Request Form below and leave it at the concession stand. You will

be contacted to confirm your schedule if requested dates and times are available.

SCHEDULING AND RULES FOR WORKING IN THE CONCESSION STAND

- The Concessionaire is the overall supervisor of the staff. All hiring and firing will be

coordinated with the Concessionaire.

- Contact Concession Stand Scheduler (Lisa Eden) for any schedule changes and

arrangements.

Rules:

- Do not change your schedule or swap your times with anyone unless you

contact the Scheduler or the Concessionaire.

- No one other than the people on the schedule to work in the Stand will be

allowed to enter the Stand.

- Once the shift starts, you are there to work. Friends are not to hang around the

front window of the Stand and you are not to go in and out to talk with them.

- No sitting on the counter. Food is prepared on the counters.

- During the slow periods, wipe up counters, wash dishes, or restock. This will

save you time at the end of your shift.

Keep the food cooking.

„ Ensure the hotdog pot is full.

„ Ensure that there are enough pretzels and pizzas in the warmers.

„ For weekend games, make sure there is water in the food warmers through out the day.

„ Stop cooking at least 30 minutes before until the end of the games. Keep checking on the amount of that’s food left. Check with the

OPENING CHECKLIST

Task Completed

1. Unlock doors and restrooms.

2. Turn on Pizza and Pretzel Ovens.

3. Plug in coffeepot and prepare coffee using 1 scoop per 2 cups. Fill water until it reaches 40 cups. (40 cups of coffee = 20 scoops)

4. Open door to cappuccino/hot chocolate machine and flip switch to ON. 5. Heat up nacho cheese: Put enough water in server to cover spacer (copper pipe piece) in bottom of pot. Place can of cheese in server, plug in, and turn on to 200 degrees. When hot, turn down to 150 degrees. Stir occasionally throughout shift.

6. Prepare hot dogs (1/2 box) in pot on burner. (Use only one or 1/ 2 pack at end of the games.)

7. Preheat sauerkraut and chili in microwave until warm. Put each one in a small crock-pot and plug in.

8. Prepare Pizzas - Open pizza shell, spread sauce and add cheese 9. Prepare pretzels - spray 4 pretzels with water, dip in salt and lightly coat them, and put in pretzel over for 3 minutes. When done, place on hooks in pretzel warmer. Keep a couple pretzels unsalted.

9. Turn on CO2 bottle for soda (turn knob all the way left). 10. Fill cooler with ice from ice machine.

11. Put out condiments for hot dogs and coffee (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, milk, sugar & creamer). *** chop onions if necessary.

12. Put money bank in register.

13. Check soda canisters and change if necessary. (Make sure they are empty first).

14. Check chips, cups, lids, etc., and restock if necessary. 15. Open windows and get ready.

HOT DOG STEAMER INTSTRUCTIONS

OPERATION PROCEDURE:

„ TAKE OUT THE HOT DOG BASKETS, JUICE TRAY, AND DIVIDER.

„ ADD NO MORE THAN SIX (6) QUARTS OF HOT WATER INTO THE COMPARTMENT OPENING ABOVE THE ELEMENT.

„ PLACE THE JUICE TRAY, BASKETS, AND DIVIDER BACK INTO THE STEAMER

„ PLACE THE HOT DOGS INTO THE SMALLER BASKET. 30 HOT DOGS

„ FLIP THE SWITCH ON AND SET THE THERMOSTAT CONTROL AT HIGH

„ KEEP THE LIDS CLOSED WHILE NOT SERVING

„ ADD MORE WATER WHEN NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN THE WATER LEVEL. (LIGHT WILL FLASH WHEN WATER IS LOW)

CLEANING

„ TAKE OUT BASKETS, TRAY AND DIVIDER

„ WASH BASKERS AND TRAYS IN HOT WATER

„ DRAIN WATER CAREFULLY BY PULLING OUT DRAIN PLUG ON THE BOTTOM OF STEAMER.

TAKES TWO PEOPLE TO DRAIN!!!! (USE LARGE MEASURING PITCHERS)

CLOSING CHECKLIST

Task Completed

1. Turn off and unplug all pots and ovens.

2. Unplug coffee and clean coffee pot.

3. Open door to cappuccino machine and flip switch OFF. Clean plastic nozzles and metal cup tray.

4. Put all leftover foods in containers or hot cups and put in refrigerator (cover after cooled).

5. Put away cheese and empty water from cheese pot.

6. Wash all pots, dishes and outside counter and sanitize (spray with Clorox solution - 1 oz per gallon of water).

7. Bring in condiments and put in refrigerator.

8. Clean and sanitize counters and machines with Clorox spray. 9. Turn off CO2 bottle for soda (turn knob all the way to the right.) 10. Remove ice from Snow-cone machine

11. Remove and secure money from register. 12. Close and lock windows.

13. Empty ice chest. 14. Take out trash.

15. Restock and sweep floor.

16. Mop every Wednesday & Saturday at closing. 17. Double-check everything!!

18. Lock restroom doors.

Nightly Receipts – Concessionaire fills out the tally sheet nightly. They are responsible

for making weekly deposits and providing the President a weekly expense report of earnings and payouts.
