Highlights of Key Events

The account conversion component of the merger will take place at the end of the business day on Friday, May 31st. This process includes

moving your member number and all the applicable accounts from the Columbus Credit Union system to the Navigant Credit Union system. Due to the necessary time it will take to complete the account conversion, both the Warren and Riverside branch offices will be closed on Saturday, June 1st.

There may be a brief period of time that Navigant Credit Union’s systems will be unavailable over the June 1st weekend. Please plan

ahead knowing that the branches will be closed. However, if you have an ATM/Debit card, it will work to obtain cash or to make purchases throughout the weekend. We will reopen the Warren and Riverside branches during normal business hours on Monday, June 3rd.

We are working diligently to minimize all inconvenience during this transition and appreciate your understanding. We are excited about our new relationships in the East Bay and look forward to serving you.

You may continue to use your Columbus Credit Union checks. When it is time to reorder checks, stop in at your local branch office or call 401.233.4700.

Statements

You will notice that the look and feel of your statements has changed. Additionally, Navigant Credit Union’s statement title allows for 30 characters or less. If the name on your current Columbus Credit Union statement is more than 30 characters, you may notice an abbreviated name. Please note that members who receive quarterly statements will be receiving a statement as of May 31st due to the account conversion.

Subsequent quarterly statements will resume on June 30th.

Share Dividends/Interest

Navigant Credit Union pays dividends/interest on a monthly basis. This differs from the quarterly dividends/interest that was paid by Columbus Credit Union.

On May 31st, Navigant Credit Union will pay out dividends/interest on

all share accounts, including CDs, as part of the account conversion process.

Member Number & Account Numbers

The letter enclosed in this mailing provided you with your new member number. You will notice that your member number is now preceded by a “2” and additional zeros depending on the length of your individual member number. Also, most of your accounts will now have different suffixes.

(3)

Debit & ATM Cards

In February, Navigant Credit Union mailed out replacement Debit & ATM cards. If you did not receive a new card, or need to order a new card, please visit your local branch office or call 401.233.4700.

If you have automatic payments (i.e. gym membership or insurance) set up with the old Columbus Credit Union debit card, please update the information with your new Navigant Credit Union debit card.

CDs & IRAs

All CDs and IRA accounts will continue to earn the same interest rate and will mature on the originally scheduled maturity date.

Interest payments from your CD or IRA accounts will remain unchanged. If you currently receive a check or electronic transfer of those payments, you will continue to receive payment in the same manner.

ACH Credit & Debit

There will be no disruption with any of your current ACH credits and debits due to the account conversion. However, if you need to initiate a new electronic transaction such as a direct deposit, we ask that you please stop by your local branch office or call 401.233.4700.

When Navigant Credit Union completes the account conversion, all credits and debits effective June 1-3rd will post on May 31st. This may result in debits and credits posting up to one day earlier.

Shared Branching

Navigant Credit Union does not support shared branching. After May 31st, this service will no longer be available.
