I graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Electrical Department of Kabul University in 1978, where I received both my Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and Master’s degree in Physics in 1982. Since then, I have gained much experience in many fields of electrical engineering, physics as well as teaching.

I am seeking a challenging position, which will allow me to pursue my career goals as well as allow me to contribute my expertise and experience in certain fields of electrical engineering and physics.

Objective:

I am seeking a challenging position, which will allow me to pursue my career goals. These goals are to research, analyze and apply the latest energy technologies, especially renewable energy, and solar power; to factor in worse case scenarios; and apply this knowledge in a cost efficient manner, which will assist in the rebuilding of Afghanistan. As well as allow me to contribute my experience and expertise in certain fields of electrical engineering and physics.

Education:

1980 - 1982 M. Sc. Physics program, Kabul, Afghanistan.

1974 - 1978 B. Sc. Electrical Engineering program, Kabul University. 1967 - 1973 Diploma programs, Technical High School, Kabul.

Achievements:

During my career I have been fortunate to be recognized and awarded many certificates and letters of appreciation, from employers in previously held positions, such as: Senior Electrical Designer, Director of Engineering department, Q.C. Manager, Coordinator, Electrical Engineer, Site Manager, Teacher and Lecturer. Recently I completed in June 2006, Quality Control training with Mr. Jan Sejive from CONTRACK Pvt. Company, Kandahar Airport, Afghanistan and in March. 2006 Management, Scheduling, Finance training with Mr. Dived, Kabul, Afghanistan.

Working Experience:

September 2011and continue as a Senior Electrical Engineer (QA/QC) with M/s

Lakeshore Engineering Inc.

Responsibilities:

Review the technical specification, Drawings and contracts documents. Review and

submit the technical submittal and drawings. Review the international and national

codes for Electrical requirements. Witnessing and sentencing of all site inspections within

their disciplines. Coordinate all site inspections with the site subcontractors. Ensure that

all inspection reports are accurate and that all attached documents are current status.

Ensure all work is correctly prepared prior to any inspection being undertaken. Review

all inspection reports for compliance. Assist the site QC manager in the organization,

maintenance and control of the quality system. Keep in touch with the site construction

engineers and provide assistance when requested. Prepare nonconformance reports to

the QA manager and assist in developing corrective actions. Assist the QC manager

and construction manager in resolving any discrepancies and ambiguities. Coordinate

with the customers QC inspectors for the resolution of site problems. Coordinate with the

site subcontractors to ensure that communications exist and are maintained. Assist the

site subcontractors in the resolution of drawing interpretation. Attend the weekly QC

meetings. Review work procedures and method statements for compliance with good

work practices and the customers contract specializations. The issuance of

nonconformance reports in conjunction with the site QC manager. The completion of

QC site instructions and coordinate their closure The review of inspection test packages

during the course of construction activities compliance with the site’s health and safety

regulations.

Company )

Responsibilities:

As senior Electrical Design Engineer and + travel my responsibility are designing of the

site power plant, lighting, lightning protection system, substation, HV and LV distribution,

and preparing Technical Documentation and all other requirements and accessories for

Elite Projects in Afghanistan such as: design of ANA Ware house ( Lakshore / USACE ) ,

Senior Site Electrical Engineer for American consulate in Mazar-esharif( PAE/OBO) ,

Commando compound of Mazar-e-sharif (CH2MHILL/AFCEE) Site 20 Base of Spin buldak (

IPE / OBO ) , Site 7 (IAP/OBO), HC Project (police head quarter) (ITSI / USACE), MOD

Project (ITSI / USACE).

Working Experience:

Feb 2007 to 2010 Senior Electrical Design Engineer MD (Mercury Development International)

Responsibilities:

As senior Electrical Design Engineer my responsibility are design of the site power plant, lighting, lightning protection system, substation, HV and LV distribution, and preparing Technical Documentation and all other requirements and accessories for MD Projects in Afghanistan such as: design of Admin buildings, barracks, buildings 406, 407, CE logistic buildings, Service Squadron buildings, HV and LV distribution in Kabul International Airport related to ITSI International, KMTC Storage in Pul-e-Charchi, Ghazi high School related to UNOPS,Jalal Abad Grisons, Parwan, Bamyan, Balkh, Jowzjan & Faryab Higher Education Facility Founded by USAID, RLS Barracks expansion Herat & ANA Kandahar detachment Kandahar Phase II related to US army corps of Engineers and etc.

April 2006 to Feb 2007 Director of engineering department NLC (National Logistic and Construction Company)

Responsibilities:

Promoted to Director of Engineering department in April 2006 and placed in charge of the financial budget, planning, scheduling and managing of all projects for NLC in Afghanistan.

NLC (National Logistic and Construction Company)

Responsibilities:

As Head of Engineering Department and Senior Electrical Engineer my responsibilities are the design of the site power plant, lighting. Lightning with their all accessories etc. This includes: an estimate of current and future consumer demands; the capacity of the power plant which will be required; the site layout and architectural detail of plant model.

As well as the technical requirements which will be needed, such as: the main switch gear, MCC room, control room and control panel, battery room, synchronizing systems, relay panels, general panel, sub distribution panel lighting and small power panel boards, fire alarm, smoke and heat dedicator systems, auxiliary step up and step down transformer, transmission and distribution systems, substation, main generator and auxiliary generation, main engine and auxiliary engine, lighting systems, lightning systems, grounding systems, cabling system, water, oil, fuel pumping stations, separate auxiliary generation, road lighting system, fluid lighting system, conducting system, diesel oil and water tank and separating systems cooling and heating system, auxiliary boiler system, pump station, fueling and refueling system etc.

In addition, I was responsible for the taxiway and runway power design of the Shaw International, Ltd. Project at Mazar-e-Shareef airport. Including, the interior fire detection and alarm systems, lightning protection system, plus the area and street lighting systems. As well as the Joint Aviation Facility (JAF) project (Helicopter Maintenance Facility Kabul Afghanistan), which includes its lighting and small power system, lightning protection system, interior fire detection and alarm systems, Generation and Distribution system, duct- bank and main hole and trench system, Synchronizing system automatic transfer switch, step up and step down system…etc., and also the Electrical design of the military headquarters of Balahesar Kabul Afghanistan, the police battalion and police station of Spin Bulak, Shinary,Shorabak ,Pol-e-Alam, Sarobi, Mashal KAmar and their all facilities. The design of one part of the Kabul International Airport (KIA)…B.C and estimation of ANA Bulk fuel storage depots Pol-e-Charkhi and Khaja Rawash projects etc.

At that time, I was also the Electrical Designer, for various projects in police battalions and police stations across Afghanistan, such as Kabul, Paktia, Jelal Abad Zawki, Poly Alam, and Khost.

July. 05 - Dec. 05 Designer - SMEC

Responsibilities: Part of the team, that designed the MV (20 KV) and LV (400V) Distribution

systems of Poly Khomri, Aibak, Kholm, Tajqurghan, charikar, Jabal Seraj and Mazar-e-Sharif cities.

1999 - 2005 Senior Designer - EVERGO Fabrication and Erector

Responsibilities: Assisted in the design and supervision of more than 100 Electrician on the

MV (15KV) and LV (380V) distribution systems of Mustafa town and Tokar Neyaz beg as well as responsible for the design of small and large scale farm projects.

1997 -1999 Designer - ZELIN in Raiwand Power Project (SEPCOL) (5X23 MW)

Responsibilities: Included the supervision of 10 groups of electrician in the generation distribution lightning, lighting Sub stations, cabling, and cable trays etc.

1997 - 1998 Coordinator - ABB/SEMT/CDE, in Raiwand Power Project (SEPCOL) (G. Station, S. Station. Transmission, Generation and Distribution)

Responsibilities: As Coordinator representing ABB/SEMT/CDE, I was responsible for the

implementation and completion of this project as well as its deadlines and budgeted costs.

1996 - 1997 Engineer - HUBCO, Power Project HUB (4x323 MW)

Responsibilities: Supervisor, of more than 15 groups of electrician in the generation

distribution, lightning, sub station, cabling, and cable trays, etc. 1995 - 1996 Engineer - MUZAFARGARH, Thermal Power Project (3x210 MW)

Responsibilities: Supervisor of 12 groups of electrician and supervisors in the generation

distribution, lightning, lighting sub stations, cabling, and cable trays, installation of different kind of electrical panel Boards, Motors. Pumps, conduiting, piping in the trenches and manholes etc.

1989 - 1992 Manager - Afghan Public Welfare Organization (APWO)

Responsibilities: Head of Electrical Department and Designer of electrical power systems

for many wide-ranging projects, as well as all administration duties. 1984 - 1986 Teacher - T. T. P. Peshawar, Pakistan

Responsibilities: Prepared course outlines, course materials such as technical drawings

etc., and taught Electrical principles.

1982 - 1984 Lecturer - Ministry of higher Education, Kabul, Afghanistan. Education University, Master’s Degree program.

Responsibilities: The preparation of courses and lecturer of Mechanics, Oscillation and
