Stage 1: Installing the D-Link WUA-1340 Wireless USB Adapter

The Myomonitor and host communicate wirelessly via a peer-to-peer network. In a peer-to-peer network, computers communicate directly with each other and do not need a server to manage shared resources.

Important! Install the D-Link Software before connecting the adapter to the computer.

1. Insert the D-Link WUA-1340 Driver CD in the CD-ROM drive. The installation program should start automatically. If this does not occur, then you will need to man-ually run the “setup.exe” file from the “Drivers” folder on the CD.

2. Click “Install Drivers” to start the installation wizard.

Stage 3: Identifying the host in the Peer-to-Peer Network

The host needs to be uniquely identified in the Peer-to-Peer network in order for the Myomonitor to be able to connect to it successfully. 2. Double-click on the "Network Connections" dialog.

3. If you have difficulty initiating the Networks Connections Window, you can start it by typing “ncpa.cpl” in the Start Menu’s ->Run command window.

.

4. Select the connection corresponding to the D-Link device and click "Change settings of this connection" found in the Network Tasks list to the left. Alternate method: select connection, right click on the connection and select "Properties" from the pop-up menu.

5. In the list labelled "This connection uses the following items", check the following items (if available):
