COUNCIL’S MESSAGE
Welcome to 2021! We hope everyone had an enjoyable and relaxing holiday season. Thank you to Santa for taking the time out of his busy day to come to Eatonia and say hi to all the children! Also to the Fire Departments for driving Santa around.
The donations for the bank food was overwhelming! It’s always nice to see our community come together to help others in need. Thank you to Eatonia Agencies for mailing out the flyers.
The town has been approved for a grant under the Provincial Traffic Safety Fund for 2 speed display signs and 2 flashing amber beacons. The speed display signs will be installed on the east and west side of Highway 21 & 44. The signs are portable so they can be moved around town as needed. The flashing amber beacons will be installed on the school zone signs at both ends of the school property. Thank you to SGI for this funding.
It is great to see all this snow this winter, the kids seem to be really enjoying it. But please remind them when playing on snow hill, not to slide out onto the streets.
Yours truly, Town Council

3 Cats Need to Find a Forever Home After Being Abandon as Kittens
Mary who is 6m old has a beautiful spirit and is very affectionate. Mary loves to chatter her teeth at birds, the TV and chase your mouse on the computer screen. Her favourite toy is the ball wheel and crumpled paper/jumping in boxes. Mary loves to give you a few kisses and will lick your hand when you pat her. Mary is a very "old" soul cat that would be good as an indoor & outdoor cat.
Pepper who is 6 months old has been spayed and is a very loving cat who loves to be cradled in your arms. Pepper is a very playful cat that likes to chase paper balls and lie on top of the fridge watching all the action below. Pepper has one eye but is a regular cat in all aspects. She also likes to play and run after all the other cats or jump into boxes or Ikea bags.
Suzie who is 5 months old roughly is very playful and melts in your arms from attention. She will pat your leg when she wants up on your lap. Suzie also chirps like a crane we think from being outside for 4 months and hearing them. She likes to cuddly on your chest under your chin and likes to sleep on the bed. Suzie loves to chase paper balls, feather toys and Mary. She is also not afraid of the vacuum. All the cats have been trained to come at the sound of treats shaking in a bag and they all know their names. If you are interested in providing a forever home to all or just one please text/call Gwen at 306-430-4936. Serious inquiries only please.
