Thank you for using the FRAP
The mechanism of certificate management used for
Windows® 7 has been changed from that of earlier Windows®
consequently, you might encounter problems when you acquire
or renew certificates with Windows® 7.
This document provides information on the operations that are

“Trusted sites” >

Set up the security level register FRAP Certificate Issuing Service Site to the “Trusted sites” in Internet Explorer. Please proceed with the procedures below.
(1) Open Internet Explorer. And select [Tools] > [Internet Options]- Figure 1-1(1),(2)

(2) Select the [Security] tab from the displayed “Internet Options” dialog-Figure 1-2(3)
(3) Select [Trusted sites] from the [Select a zone to view or change security settings] – (4), and click the [Sites] button – (5)

(4) Enter an https address as shown below to the [Add the zone] in the ”Trusted sites” dialog, and click the [Add] button – figure 1- 3(6),(7).

If .this page appears, ActiveX® may be disabled through your security settings.
Please try again after enabling ActiveX by following the procedure below. (1) Select [Trusted sites] from the [Select a zone to view or change
security settings] – Figure 2-1(1), and click the [Custom level] button – (2).

(2) Search the “Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins” under “ActiveX controls and plug-ins” in the open Security Setting dialog, and then select “Enable” item – Figure 2-2(3)

(3) Search the “Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting”, and then select “Enable” item – Figure 2-3(4).

To establish the running Add on for Internet Explorer, please confirm and set up the Add on.
(1) Open Internet Explorer, and select [Tools] > [Manage Add-ons] – Figure 3-1(1),(2).

(2) Check whether the add-on “X509 Enrollment Web Class Factory” is displayed, and confirm the Status in the “Manage Add-ons” dialog – Figure 3-2 (3), (4)

(3) If the add-on "X509 Enrollment Web Class Factory" is displayed and the status is "Disabled", please proceed to operation 4).
If the add-on "X509 Enrollment Web Class Factory" is not displayed or the status is "Enabled", please proceed to operation 5).
(4) 4) Click and select the add-on named "X509 Enrollment Web Class Factory".

Error Message
If you attempt to aquire certificates using Windows® 7 without first performing the preparation procedures, an error message may appear as shown in Figure 5. If this appears, certificates can not be acquired, even if you attempt to re-do the procedures. In such case, please ask an
administrator to re-issue the certificate.

< Confirm the TLS-option setting >
Confirm the TLS-option setting by the following procedure.
(1) Open Internet Explorer 11, and select [Tools] > [Internet Options].
(2) Select the [Advanced] tab from the displayed [Internet Options] dialog box . - Figure 6
(3) To enable TLS in Internet Explorer, check the "Use TLS X.X" box on the [Advanced] tab.
If the "Use TLS X.X" box is checked , there is no need to operation on this section.
