When you add the Custom Office module (included with systems of 5 users or more), MAS 90 or MAS 200 and your Microsoft Office applications will seem like they’re all part of one mission-critical business software suite. Custom Office seamlessly links the application data with Word, Excel or e-mail software. Right from the customer record screen you are viewing in Accounts Receivable, you can fire off a welcome letter to a new customer with one mouse click, or e-mail your supervisor for credit approval. Using the Custom Office module, you can add new custom fields to a form, or change any application screen to match your business process, without programming skills. You can speed data entry and improve data accuracy by hiding unused fields, specifying default values and changing tab sequences. You can easily prepare mass mailings to your customers — a wizard walks you through selecting your data and performing a streamlined mail merge.
Customize Your Communications With the Custom Office module, you can e-mail a supervisor to increase a customer’s credit limit, then customize a standard Word template and send a letter about the limit increase to the customer.
