The difference between ‘white paper’ and ‘product/service catalog’ in ITpro Active

White paper

For the sake of convenience, ITpro Active defines all material except ‘product/service catalog’ as ‘white

paper’. White paper typically includes descriptions of a specific technology, product, or service; its

application; analysis report of its performance compared with previous models or competitor’s products;

case study introducing how it is actually used; research report; market analysis and statistics; and

presentation materials.

•On ITpro Active, ‘white paper’ can include: description, case study, technical material, research material

and presentation material.

Product/service catalog

Product/service catalog is a description of or guide to a product or service that conveys its characteristics

in an organized manner, covering specifications and basic data.

Title of a page introducing your product/service catalog

Please note that the title of the page introducing your product/service catalog appears as below, showing

the name of the product/service or the name of the catalog.

Ex. “XX Series Catalog”

Ex. “XX Series YY Model”

It cannot include any other information.

Ex. “XX series YY model with 50% improved processing performance”

Can we make revisions to the white paper introduction page prepared by ITpro Active editors?

We will send you a proof before placing it on ITpro Active; you can make revisions then.

Can we replace our PDF material after its placement?

It can be replaced for an additional fee of JPY 10,000 per material.

If the PDF material is replaced after placement, will the introduction page be modified, too?

The introduction page can be modified for an additional fee; please make corrections to the current introduction page.

The fee for modifying the introduction page is JPY20,000 per material, which includes the fee for replacing the PDF material.

Overall changes (rewriting) will be considered as a new order, and the full program charge will apply.

Our PDF material exceeds 2MB in size. Are we unable to order the program?

In some cases, PDF materials over 2MB can be accepted; please contact us at

Can we have additional white paper(s) placed in the “5. Product/Service Introduction Advertorial with White Paper Download”
